Hocutt'S Child Care INC.

Hocutt’s Child Care is a family oriented center that puts the children’s desire to learn first. They are very loving to the kids and the kids love playing and goofing with the teachers. They always welcome the children with a hug, even if their hands a full no child is turned away. They make you feel like you are part of the family. They do not try to fool you with fancy items or big flashy things. Great vibes when you come in contact with them. Always honest and willing to help you in any way possible. Love this place!!

We recently moved to the area and prior to doing so, I contacted Hocutt's Child care to inquire about availability, which I was told they did have. I scheduled an in person tour with Ms. Kim and thought we were set. When we arrived to the state and the day of the tour, everyone was getting ready to leave. We were asked if we needed help and I explained we had a tour scheduled. The response I received was "we don't have availability and I don't have any tours scheduled." I was a bit surprised, but pulled out my calendar I had written it down on to show the woman, who turned out to be Ms. Kim. After that, she was kind enough to give us a tour and sit with us to answer questions. At the end, she explained due to staffing there was no availability in the room my child would be in. I asked why we didn't receive a phone call to inform us, as this was our best option for daycare. No real response was given. I gave Ms. Kim my number and name and asked that if she were able to get someone in that room (which she stated she was hopefully going to know about the following Tuesday), could she give me a call so we can initiate the process. Unfortunately, I never received a call, so I took it as a sign that this wasn't the place for my child.

I loved going to Hocutt’s when I was younger. The teachers were always nice. I still go visit sometimes. There are some new teachers I don’t know but miss kiki and miss towanna are still there and they are the best. Oh and mr Jason is the owner, he rocks!

We had a terrible experience with this facility. Based on my experience and opinion, this facility should not be allowed to care for pets and especially not for children. The teacher that I dealt with was not honest and it was proven that she lied on a 6 yr old during an issue related to bullying. The director methods of getting to the bottom of issues is by use of interrogation and threatening the child in my experience. I would not recommend this facility to any parent that care about their child's well-being. We have removed our child however are concerned and care about the remaining children at this facility. Word of advice, don't always take the teacher's or director word because they have been known to lie on the child.

I have 2 children who go to Hocutts and have had a great experience. My kids have been in 4 of the classes and the teachers are wonderful.
