Hobson School has been the absolute perfect fit for us! I was looking for a preschool that focused on play-based learning, developmentally appropriate goals and encouraged experiential education. Hobson is all of these and more! The teachers are exceptional; they are nurturing, patient, understanding, creative and kind. My children, who experienced significant separation anxiety, were met with warmth, kindness and genuine compassion (stuffies included!). Hobson is exactly what my mama heart was looking for.
Hobson School has been fantastic for my children’s early development. The play-based learning approach is fantastic, and I've seen tremendous growth in my child's social and emotional skills. The teachers are incredibly patient and understanding, and they create a nurturing environment where children can explore and learn at their own pace. I also love the focus on outdoor play with Goodrich Woods open for hikes and exploration!
Hobson is truly a unique place for children to be able to do what they were meant to do, to be kids. We chose Hobson to provide a solid support for teaching our kids social and emotional skills and development and came away with so much more. The cooperative setting enhances a community to support the teachers and students while making life long friends. Being able to partake in the classroom with our boys has given us memories I will always cherish, but more importantly see them grow and learn through play and embrace a love of nature. The staff is more like an extended family, their compassion, care and love of childhood play made our Hobson experience the best choice to help raise our boys in the best ways possible.
