We absolutely love Hilltop! We joined Hilltop in 2016 when my older daughter was 3.5 years old. She attended for 3 years before moving on to 1st grade at a charter school. We are now back at Hilltop with my younger daughter. This is her 2nd year at Hilltop. Many of the amazing teachers are still there and some of the same families are back with siblings. I love the community that Hilltop provides the families and the philosophy of the school. I have really enjoyed my time as a “working parent” in the co-op and I have learned so much. Every time I drop off my child I know she is in great hands and she will be taken care of with love and respect. We plan to keep her there next year for her kindergarten year. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a loving and nurturing school for their child.
Hilltop is a wonderful place not just for children but for the whole family. The teachers are not only knowledgeable in all things child development and education but are truly caring individuals who love and respect the children at Hilltop. In addition to the wonderful learning environment for the children, Hilltop offers parent education through workshops and hands on experience working in the classroom. Since starting at Hilltop both my child and myself have learned and grown so much. It is like an extension of our family, what more could you ask for in a preschool. I have been a Hilltop parent for 3 years. The teachers and community have been so supportive of my children at each stage of their development, meeting them where they are and fostering their natural curiosity. Hilltop has encouraged their social emotional growth in so many ways.
We love hilltop and all of the benefits it has brought into our own and our toddler's life. It really is a culture as opposed to a day care and the philosophies and skills we have learned are not something I would expect to get anywhere else. We are tentatively planning for my now 4 (almost 5) year old to spend as long as they will allow at Hilltop because I believe the type of learning is unparalleled. You should be prepared for meetings and some extracurricular obligations but that's what makes this school unique- the parental involvement is unlike any other- which is inherently in the co-op model. We are very grateful for this community and especially grateful for the teachers and staff
