I can not say enough positive and wonderful things about Highland Learning Center. My grandson has been going there for two years now. I have been so incredibly pleased with the environment that HLC has provided. It is, in my opinion, always a warm and welcoming place. I have watched him grow and thrive over the last two years. Every time I go pick him up, the staff greets me warmly and everyone is friendly, professional, and communicative. I have had the pleasure of attending Grandparents day and enjoyed watching the interaction my grandson has with both his previous and current teachers, as well as classmates. It certainly allows me to have a piece of mind that he is loved and protected, while learning and growing! My personal interaction with the staff and director have been amazing. We had a family medical emergency that required me to take care of my grandson for a week and the director was so encouraging and helpful while we were navigating a very scary time for our family. She checked in on how things were going and talked to me with such genuine concern for how my grandson was handling all that was going on. I think that HLC is an incredible!!!!!!
Highland Learning Center is truly a blessing for our family. We’ve had both of our children, a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old, enrolled here since they were infants, and we wouldn’t dream of taking them anywhere else. The care, love, and attention they receive every single day is unmatched. The curriculum is exceptional, and it’s amazing to see how much our kids have grown academically, socially, and spiritually. They’re learning strong Christian values and how to be kind, respectful, and thoughtful individuals. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about each child’s development and well-being. The administration and teachers are top-notch. They go above and beyond to make sure every child feels loved, safe, and supported. As a parent, there’s no better feeling than dropping your kids off and seeing them excited to be there, greeted warmly by the staff. Highland also does a fantastic job organizing family events throughout the year, creating a true sense of community and belonging. The director is incredibly dedicated—not only to making Highland the best it can be, but also to advocating for better resources and funding for childcare centers across the board. If you’re looking for a nurturing, enriching, and faith-based learning environment in Fayetteville, NC, Highland Learning Center is the absolute best choice.
Highland Learning Center has been such a blessing for our family! Both of our children have been there since they were just 3 months old, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the love, care, and support the staff have provided over the years. It truly feels like an extension of our family — the teachers know each child, and genuinely care about their growth and happiness. Our oldest was more than prepared for kindergarten, both academically and socially, thanks to the wonderful foundation Highland provided. The center’s developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum encourages curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. We are so grateful to have found a place that not only nurtures our children, but also helps them thrive at every stage. Highly recommend Highland Learning Center to any family looking for exceptional early childhood care and education!
There is absolutely no other place I would ever want to send my babies. The teachers and leadership at Highland are incredible—they’ve become such a big part of our village and our family’s story. As a military family, we moved here not knowing anyone, and I truly believe God led us to Highland. Through all the research I did before we moved, Highland wasn’t even on my radar—which is why we started somewhere else. But after a disappointing experience, we moved our firstborn to Highland, and it has been the biggest blessing. Every teacher has gone above and beyond to make us feel supported. They’ve helped me navigate motherhood—through postpartum and going back to work, through milestones, and through learning how to best guide my spirited, “always running at 150%” child, who has now been in every age-range class, as well as my baby who is still in the younger classes. The fact that they learn so much—from identifying trapezoids at two and a half years old to now working on letter sounds and visual recognition—makes me call it a “school,” not a “daycare.” There is no other daycare I would send my children to, and no other teachers I would trust to love them as their own. I know my children are loved, nurtured, and cherished every single day. One teacher once told me she sees all of our children as Jesus’s little children, and that moment has always stayed with me. For parents doing their research—Highland has clear allergy guidelines, small class ratios, and strict biting and aggression policies, with all incident reports documented and accessible to parents. There are endless reasons why this is a 5-star childcare facility. The director and teachers are always willing to meet and collaborate to ensure every child and teacher stay safe and thriving. We drive 40 minutes each way to bring our children here instead of choosing from the 15 daycares within a 2.9-mile radius of our home—and we’d do it again in a heartbeat. I can’t imagine a better place for America’s future leaders to spend their early childhood years, and we plan to stay in Fayetteville as long as we can so our children can continue to grow and thrive at Highland.
We’ve been part of the Highland Learning Center family for years, entrusting them with both of our children—from their infant days to now, with our oldest in before and after school care and our youngest thriving in the Pre-K class. The care, dedication, and genuine love shown by the staff have made this center an extension of our home. Our youngest is currently learning to write the alphabet in both uppercase and lowercase, and we’ve been given laminated practice sheets to reinforce those skills at home—just one example of how the center partners with parents in their child’s development. Meanwhile, our oldest receives consistent encouragement to complete homework during after-school care, along with engaging educational activities that keep her curious and motivated. What truly sets Highland apart is the way the teachers treat our children like their own. Our kids feel safe, loved, and excited to go to “school” each day. Ms. Diana, the director, has been a driving force behind the center’s growth and positive changes over the years. She’s approachable, responsive, and always willing to listen and address any concerns with care and professionalism. We’re deeply grateful for the nurturing environment Highland Learning Center provides. It’s more than a daycare—it’s a community that supports our children’s learning, happiness, and well-being every step of the way.
