Did I MISS THAT PART? Because our experience definitely didn’t match this standard! My 4 year old grandson is autistic! He was in the 3 yr old classroom! Upon his arrival DAILY! He WAS NEVER GREETED WITH A SMILE OR WORDS OF WELCOME. Maybe the use of their cell phones was more important! The most unpleasant atmosphere I’ve EVER EXPERIENCED. Parents should NEVER have to feel like crap while leaving their love ones with individuals they should trust while they work to provide for their families. This so called center did just that! Shame on you management and his classroom teachers. I PRAY that no other family endures this experience.
My nephew has been removed (kicked out) from this facility due to behavioral issues. He is also on the autism spectrum. When I spoke with director she could not give any parent video surveillance for incident. Also, when ask for the signed agreement for consent to video and the policy in written she could not provide. There has been no evidence or better yet discrepancies towards nonverbal autistic nephew. No answer for how they redirect behavior or how this continues to happen with a large class and several staff. My mother shared that staff NEVER greets when he arrived.
I couldn't brag enough on how much this staff cares about the kids. Ashley and Samantha are two of the best I've ever come in contact with when it comes to childcare and just being genuine people. God put High Street in my path, and I'm grateful because my son has benefitted greatly. Extraordinary place!
