First timing dining at the Social Corner, Thursday night dinner with my Cuz'n, and we had a great time, I found out about the TACOS & TEQUILA AFTER I ordered my first drink,SO make sure you check the specials!!!! Patti the Bartender was Super SWEET, and was fun to be around, our server was not really attentive, didn't give us utensils , napkins ugh... had to keep going to the bar however everything else was great! We sipped on chocolate Martinis, strawberry daiquiri and dined on tacos and fried shrimp which was quite tasty, the Fish tacos were de-lish!!!!! DJ was ON POINT!!! I danced till I left! I'll definitely be back and with a bigger gry!

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, and I didn’t have any trouble getting a seat. The service was friendly, and the owner was very nice, which I appreciated. The drinks were okay—I ordered a margarita that was a bit too sweet at first, but the bartender fixed it quickly. However, I did face a long wait of over an hour and a half for my food, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. The waitress kept reassuring me it was coming, but it took quite a while. The menu indicated the wait time for a steak is 45mins; however, I waited over 45mins. My steak wasn’t cooked quite as I wanted, and it was salty, which was disappointing. It was cut into pieces, and by then, I expected it to be at the right temperature after such a long wait. The eggs were good but they give tiny amount of potatoes. I understand if it was busy, but waiting that long felt unusual. The restaurant could improve on timing and steak temperature, especially since the portions weren’t very large to justify such a wait. I rated it two stars mainly because of the good service, with the owner visiting my table and remaking my drink. The steak was decent, but overall, the experience could be better.

Service is horrible they need more staff they had one lady doing everything, taking food orders, drink orders at every table and also doing hookah the wait was extremely long the menu stated brunch all day however when we got there she said only appetizer menu meanwhile I seen people with regular food the appetizer sucks wasnt worth the price at all I walked out one before because the service was bad decided to give it another chance and still horrible I honestly feel once they realize you not Caribbean they take their time. After a while we got served and we made the best of it luckily the music was good.

I visited this restaurant recently and unfortunately had a very upsetting experience. The bar features swing-style chairs, and while sitting on one, I fell and fractured my wrist. This was a serious injury that caused me a lot of pain and distress. When I approached the owner, Claudia, to explain what happened, I was shocked by her response. Instead of showing concern or offering assistance, she appeared intoxicated and was socializing with younger companions. At one point, she made the comment, “Black people always trying to bring black people down,” which felt completely inappropriate and dismissive of what I had just gone through. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that she attempted to kiss me on the cheek while I was explaining my injury. This crossed a personal boundary and made me feel very uneasy. I have always supported her other restaurant next door, Cove, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I truly expected empathy and professionalism, especially after being injured on her property. Sadly, my pain and concerns were not acknowledged at all. Customer safety and respectful treatment should be a priority, and this experience showed a serious lack of both. I hope management reflects on this and makes changes so no one else has to go through something similar.

I came to this establishment yesterday. When I say I’ve never been so disappointed in service. Our server Damaine was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! He wasn’t welcoming AT ALL. He had an attitude when taking our order. We asked him what was on the tacos before ordering them and he said just tomatoes. We asked for just chicken lettuce and cheese. Tacos came back with peppers and onions, and I don’t eat that. He gave me attitude when I asked him to take it back and I will order something else. We had to wait longggggg just to place another order of drinks. When we got there it wasn’t even packed so there was no excuse for the long wait time. When he finally remembered he had guests waiting, he came to the table to take our drink order and was on the damn phone while talking to me. In what business is it ok to be having a whole conversation with the phone to your ear while taking a whole freaking order. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! The ONLY good experience I had was with the bartender Patrice. She had great service. I wasn’t even sitting at the bar and she made sure I got what I needed. Our server Damaine never came back to our table after dropping off the bill so I had to ask Patrice if we could pay with her because I was tired of the ignorant service we was receiving. This was my 1st time at this place and my LAST.
