We enrolled our child here with high hopes, but our experience was disappointing and concerning. Over time, we observed concerning teacher behavior and classroom management that we found disheartening and inappropriate for young children. The way certain situations were handled did not reflect the level of care, patience, and professionalism we believe students deserve specially in a private Montessori school. While administration was courteous, we felt there was a lack of transparency and meaningful accountability. Ultimately, we lost confidence in the school’s ability to provide a consistently supportive and emotionally safe environment. After much consideration, we made the difficult decision to withdraw both of our children. I hope the school takes these concerns seriously and works toward improving staff oversight and classroom culture for future families.
My 2.5 year old absolutely loves Heritage! He talks about his teachers all the time, loves the daily “dance parties” with friends, and has become more social and assertive since starting school. All communications are via email, which is really nice. Highly recommend. Update 3 years later. My younger daughter also loves Heritage! My son’s class had some fluctuations/turnover with teachers for a few months but the director Samantha was always on top of it. The teachers and assistants are all kind and encourage independence in our kiddos, which is so empowering for them.
