Heritage Daycare

I have never been more disappointed in a daycare. From day 1, the communication was nonexistent. My son went there from June 2nd to August 4th and I can’t even keep track how many staff started and quit. The turnover rate is absolutely insane and nobody is on the same page. He came to this daycare 100% potty trained. My son has completely regressed because I found out they slapped pull-ups on all the kids all day and then put underwear on them before parents showed up. Myself, my husband and my mom have all come early and caught him in pull ups and the directors excuse was “oh sorry - I meant to get that back on him before you came to pick him up.” If nap time is over at 2:30 and I show up at 4….thats wild. When I attempted to drop him off August 5th, he screamed and ran from me saying “I don’t wanna go. I wanna go home” when at his previous daycare before we moved this never happened. I also had other parents message me and tell me that they saw the director become aggressive towards kids, including secluding them in a room with the door shut and not allowing them special outside time, including water play (something that was only happening once a week and that all kids were excited for) these are 2 & 3 year olds we are talking about. My son started daycare happy and excited and now he has the worst temper tantrums, has foul language from learning it from the kids and staff there and has regressed in his toileting. The state needs to get involved and get this place shut down, or at the bare minimum a new director needs to be put in place. One of the teachers looked at me and said “no wonder everyone quit.” This was only a month ago. Very concerning. If you bring your child(ren) here and think this place is great, you either have extremely low expectations of care for your child, or you are no idea what is going on behind these doors while you are at work.

These people truly love and care for every single person that walks through those doors. I am so so so appreciative of every single person. As a first time mom, daycare always scared me, but knowing my baby is getting the best care allows my mind to rest. Thank you heritage daycare!!!! 1000/10!!!!!!

I wanna know how this daycare gets 5 stars? The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the director was always friendly and courteous. The toddler B teacher was ok at times, but only when she had to be. She never said hello to my child when she came in in the morning, kept forgetting (or didn't care) that my child needed to have her glasses on through out the day, and sent home kids dirty. I understand kids play, and that's fine, but when they have snot up to their hairline, wipe their face at some point. She also was letting the kids play outside when it was over 100 degrees outside while she hung out in the doorway in the shade. I am ok paying more for childcare if it means better care! You get what you pay for
