DO NOT trust your children to be in this facility. My niece was going to start here until they (ms Emily) told my sister that if my niece was fighting to go with them that she would be asked to leave and have the child alone with the worker due to “the parents not helping the process.” Later, we see that on March 4th 2025, one of their employees got charges in Saint Louis county for inappropriate contact with children. I can’t imagine how many times this worker probably told a parent to leave only to hurt the children rather than help them. We never signed my niece up and I’m glad we didn’t!
We had a mixed experience at here we grow Pros: stayed open during Covid, hours were nice, the app they use to communicate was helpful, affordable. One teacher who is now the assistant director is amazing Cons: huge turnover problem- I know that had been a problem in childcare especially since Covid, but it seemed like every few months we would have a different teacher- we were there for one year, and our daughter had 7 teachers, which was tough. The communication was poor, and we also didn’t feel supported through transitions with our daughter. We thought maybe that was just how daycares were as it was our first experience, but we have found that is not the case.
My son started HWG over a year ago. He was instantly embraced, loved, and supported by the staff. In one year my son made countless wonderful memories and leaps and bounds in his development. The entire staff put so much thought and heart into every single thing they do. We loved our time at HWG and cannot recommend them enough!
Here We Grow has been absolutely wonderful for our daughter. The have provided exceptional care and education for her and really helped her develop and grow into a wonderful child. The staff and owners are all very helpful and child oriented and provide a wonderful experience.
From day 1 they have made our child feel at home. Our first grader is now there too bc of the Covid-19 situation and getting all the help she needs! It’s a true blessing! They understand what working families need.
