Here I Grow

Trinity has been my church home for many, many years. I love the pastors and people here so much. Everyone has such a heart for the Lord. The pastors and elders are rock solid in guiding the church, teaching sound theology, and encouraging fellowship and ministry within and outside the church setting. My small groups on Sunday mornings and on a weeknight are so encouraging and supportive. It’s a privilege to walk through the ups and downs of life with these people. From encouraging members in their spiritual growth, personal holiness, and devotion to Christ to taking mission trips, holding English language classes for Spanish speakers, running a food pantry, and having a Chinese fellowship for over 30 years, Trinity has impacted thousands of people for Christ over the years. Recently, we’ve added a special needs ministry. My severely disabled son is thriving with his teachers and one-on-one aides. He enjoys the music and special needs curriculum and has a sweet friendship with another boy who is so gentle and loves to make my son laugh by making silly noises. If you have a child with special needs, we would love to have you join us!

I once heard someone say that the shepherd should smell like the sheep. This pastor doesn’t, and unless there’s some radical change, he never will. He watches his flock from a distance, and they don’t really know him. It’s just not right. He is unavailable and unfriendly. If you attend here, the chances that you will ever be invited to his home or felt truly welcomed by him are very low. If you want to be ministered to, you have to make an appointment as if he is some corporate exec. His sermons are also hard to follow. The people that attend here though, do minister to you and will treat you well. It would be nice if there were more meetings with others outside of the church building, too, to have more community, and if they didn't sing the same old songs they always do.

I love this church. I have been going here since i was born. I have great relationships with all my friends. I love the youth group! If you are looking for a church come here everyone is so nice and we all want the same thing here... To learn about God and live a good christan life.

Absolutely love this church! The people are great and teaching is amazing! It's a great place to get plugged into community in Norman, and everyone makes me feel right at home. 10/10, highly recommend.

I love this church! As a college student it has been awesome to get plugged into a church with a multi-generational church body. I get to serve with the kids and am shepherded by the adults. If you’re looking for a church in Norman please come hang out with us!!
