We were at this daycare from age 18 months to almost 3 years, and just recently moved to a centre closer to home. I was nervous sending my baby to daycare, but the educators were wonderful and helped us do a gradual start - a few hours to begin, leading to a full day by the end of the week. We were always impressed by the care and attention of the educators, and their professional approach to issues. For example, my son didn't sleep well for his first nap there, but the next day, the teachers had a meeting, made a plan, and he had a 2 hour nap! We are a Cree speaking family and it was so reassuring to have one of the Busy Bee (baby) teachers speak Cree to our son every day when he started. Every teacher, even if they were responsible for a different class, would enthusiastically greet us by name when we arrived, and make my son feel welcome. The centre is a bit older, but meticulously clean and inviting. There is a beautiful outdoor play space, with mature trees, lots of shade, space to climb and run, and toys to ride. We were so lucky to experience 3 classrooms and 3 sets of teachers: Busy Bees (baby), Ladybugs (younger toddler), and Caterpillars (older toddlers). At each transition, the staff really helped kids get to know their peers and their space, and would introduce activities for that age. A very caring and nurturing early learning centre!
We had a wonderful experience with this daycare. My older child started when he was 18 months old and stayed until he was 5 years old. Even now, he still talks about his pre-kinder educators and asks to go back for a visit. That shows how much he loved his time there and the positive memories he keeps. My younger child has been attending since he was 1 year old, and now he is 3. He is always mentioning the names of his educators and feels very supported, especially during his potty training journey. The educators are caring, patient, and very attentive to the children’s needs. Both of my kids have grown, learned, and felt safe and happy at this daycare. As a parent, I truly appreciate the love, guidance, and dedication of all the staff. I highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a place where children can thrive and feel at home. Thanks again Helping Hands!!
We had a truly wonderful experience at this daycare. From day one, my son felt right at home—he absolutely loved everything about it! The teachers were warm, caring, and attentive, and the environment was always positive, clean, and engaging. He looked forward to going every day and always came home happy and full of stories. Unfortunately, we had to move to another place, and that’s the only reason he had to leave. Otherwise, he would have happily continued there without a doubt. We’re so grateful for the love, support, and care he received—it made a real difference in his early years. Highly recommended!

Our daughter has been attending for a year now. She loves all the staff, and looks forward to going to school everyday. A variety of healthy lunches are provided daily. The staff are exceptionally kind and caring. They ensure she gets the enrichment she needs on a daily basis and keep us apprised of how she is doing. They also provide daily journals with pictures and descriptions of the activities that have been done during her time at school. We couldn't be more pleased with the care they provide for our child and the effort they put in on a daily basis. It's great to feel happy to bring your child to a place they love knowing they'll be cared for in such a positive way.
