What Parents Say
Helping Hands Christian Learning Center in Lansing receives mostly positive reviews, with parents praising the caring staff, educational programs, and convenient school transportation services. However, two recent reviews raise concerns about staff inexperience, lack of professionalism, and a serious incident involving child injury and facility negligence.
This place has been such a blessing for my kids and I! My kids have learned so much more here and get more personal care than their old daycare. All the staff really go above and beyond and really love all the children, it shows! We switched here almost a year ago, I’m a single mom who works before school starts and most of the time later then school gets out and them providing transportation to and from school is such a blessing for me to be able to work! My kids love it so much, they get mad if I pick them up early 😆 I can’t recommend this place enough!
We absolutely love Helping Hands! My oldest daughter attended from 3 months to almost 2 years old. The only reason we switched daycares was because we moved too far away from it and we were so sad to leave. The caregivers are loving and amazing and the director is the best! They truly care about your child and it feels like a family there. I cannot recommend this childcare center enough!
We love HHCLC. The teachers and director genuinely love and care about all of the babies. Our daughter has dealt with allergies and they have been so supportive, accommodating and careful as we navigate it. I feel so safe and comforted being able to send my daughter here. She has also learned leaps and bounds here.
Very loving towards the children but the staff need more experience eps. in Ms. Kristin's class. She is a lead teacher who does not act like it. No weekly schedule put up because she actually told me she had to get more training from the director. They can only deal with cookie cutter white acting children and for this center to have been open for so long they should have experience to deal with all types of children - period .Helping Hands is not what it use to be based on the lack of experience of their staff. They are not as professional as they appear to be esp. the director ... It was a very disappointing experience I had with them!
My Grandson was injured by this facility due to the negligence of workers here, after being rushed to the hospital and a very large bill that the insurance did not cover this facility refused to pay any portion of the bill. I am a Social worker in Florida and would suggest that this facility be investigated. Shame on this facility for not taking the responsibility for their own negligence.
