The school is very bias, also unprofessional. The teacher Ara is very militant and she teaches kids in prek-4. I find my child coming home everyday with coloring pages, which she is supposed to be preparing for kindergarten. Also there is a chart system kids get yellow, red, or green. Red indicates something physical happened, when I try to contact the teacher to see what happened throughout the day, what physical altercation happened so I can address it at home, Ara would say it was already resolved in class. It’s like we’re paying for my child to go there but we aren’t allowed to get any information. A parent pulled her child out the class and put their child in a different school and I took my child out the same week. Lori who teaches the younger class is very nice and did a lot of projects, my child wasn’t excited to always go to school. Now when she was in this class she would come home and say she hates her class and she doesn’t like her teacher.
This is the worst school my daughter ever went to. They neglect and abused her. They ripped her shirt and said I was over dressing her. They didn't even wipe my daughter nose. She came back dirty socks. She also had pneumonia, keep getting cold after cold. The teacher took them out to play with snow ❄️ 😐 😳. This staff members, teachers, etc don't care about these no verbal students. Please runaway from this school. They don't allow naps what so ever. Your child will come home exhausted, tired, dirty and hungry. The therapist doesn't care about these children's. Lack of communication for everyone. Michelle Greenwich doesn't care what so ever. None of them care about your child or children's.
I had the best seit HASC has to offer !!! We started with Jean F last September all the way until mid summer and what an amazing person she is ! Jean worked very closely with my daughter Lyla . Instantly I saw an improvement. Jean puts good communication , care, fun activities and love all into her work, . Lyla can do and say so many more things, including saying her name out loud and spelling her name on paper and writing down other words on paper while she spells it out! Lyla loved singing songs, signing the alphabet and reading books and counting with Jean . all of which increasingly improved. Lyla has made me so proud and I owe it all to Jean for working so closely with me and my daughter . If you’re looking for a seit I highly recommend Jean ! She is the ABSOLUTE best .
July of 2022 they are still locking kids out of an education by shutting down again and again because a teacher may have been exposed to Covid, not considering the huge damage it causes to the kids despite Covid posing almost no risk to them at all. All other local schools are long done with this, its a real shame because they are a great school otherwise.
I went to this school when I was 4 years old and I still think of the great memories I experienced here. They inspire me so much. I’m 18 now, and I still miss this amazing school. Would totally send my kids here!!
