We were excited to enroll our 3 and a half year-old at this center. The tour was very nice, the classrooms are on the second level of the church, separate from the main worship and staff area, although I was told the children do participate in church activities, which is amazing! The fenced-in playground and gross motor gym were really impressive. The space felt safe and well thought-out, and this was our top choice. But the enrollment process left a sour taste. Some staff seemed on edge during our visit, which was a little off-putting. We were told there was a waitlist, which we understood, but shortly after we found out a family friend’s child in the same age group had been enrolled fairly quickly and was not told the same. When we asked about a timeline, the director, Patty, seemed put off and gave no real answers, only saying our name was written on the list…. This is very unhelpful as we are looking for Care quite quickly as was discussed while setting up the initial visit As parents new to the area, we were hoping for a welcoming community. Instead, it left us questioning how the center is run and whether other families or staff experience the same dismissiveness. After a strong first impression, we just weren’t into it and decided not to move forward.
Such a beautiful childcare where kids are loved 🥰 & treated with kindness. They have such a secure, large clean, & well kept facility. The teachers actively engage with the kids while teaching skills & appear to really enjoy their positions. They play outside in a large area with many clean toys and playground equipment. The play area is huge in comparison to other facilities. They also seem to offer pickup and after school care since I have viewed buses.
