Herkimer College offers some of the most breathtaking views in the Mohawk Valley including woods, streams, fields and charming barns. The trails have recently been updated and a field guide is available at the information hut near the nature trail parking lot.
One of NY states best Community College's. Awesome athletics program including, Lax, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, & Basketball . Renowned radio/ TV program or just to get credits for transfer... I just drop off and pick up a student. The college is easy to get to, has ample parking, and they do a good job with snow removal.
I'm finishing my last semester right now and I will definitely miss this place! It's affordable, parking is free (or they don't ticket you ever unless you're in the tecahers lot), all the buildings are connected by tunnels so you never have to walk in the snow, and the staff is friendly and flexible!
Great college, even better staff and faculty. My kids got three different degrees and are working in there field they studied in. Would recommend this college to anyone wanting to get their associates or going for their bachelor's degrees.
