The Knowledge Academy on Hobart St. has been such a blessing for our family! After a very difficult experience at another daycare, we found K.A. just two days later and the difference has been night and day. Ms. T and Ms. Bre (the Director and Assistant Director) are amazing, and my daughter’s teachers have been nothing short of wonderful. From the very beginning, they made us feel welcome and cared for. My daughter is only 18 months, but in just a week’s time we’ve seen huge growth; she’s more independent, starting to talk in complete sentences, and even using her utensils so much better. She cried at her very first drop-off, but since then she runs to the door excited to go to “school.” She eats her meals well, naps peacefully, and comes home happy every single day. The staff communicates daily, keeping me updated on everything, which gives me such peace of mind. We truly love this daycare, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
Dr. and Mrs. Harper are the Christian Owners and are very involved in the center. It is a Christian, loving, and learning atmosphere, with lots of interaction with the children and teachers. The children are taught about God, they pray daily, learn manners and respect for each other and their teachers. They are also public school ready for kindergarten. My son is ahead of his kindergarten class thus far. The center itself has a classic Sunday school, school house feel. The children are all treated as individuals. Such as, if a child is very shy or aloof, the teachers will focus on developing social interaction. The center is well balanced. The children also receive nutritious, balanced meals which is included. As I stated, my son just graduated and is now in kindergarten. Now, my grandson is enrolled full time. --Thank you
Couldn’t ask for a better learning experience for our toddler. My son is proof!! Call him on his play phone and ask him a few questions I’m sure you would be impressed ;)
