Harbor View Daycare, LLC

Lora, and the Harbor View staff are our extended family! My daughter looks forward to 'school' every day. She is surrounded by so much love, fun, learning activities, and has made best friends! When she began, she was so young, so shy, and it has been amazing to watch her grow into an outgoing, intelligent, caring little girl. I know this is because of the nurturing environment that HVC provides. I can't thank Lora and everyone enough for the experience they are giving us.

My children have been attending Harbor View Day Care for 8 months and they love it! My daughter used to cry when I left her at her old daycare but now she is happy to go to school. All the teachers are so nice and the whole place is very homey. The pre-K room is so big and bright with plenty of natural light and a really cool loft/play fort. My daughter is free to express herself and be creative and learn how to get along with others. She is really blossoming since we started here. They are only closed a few days a year which is great. The prices are very reasonable and the location is convenient - it's nice to stop down port for dinner on the way home. Highly recommend!

My son went here this past year and I have to tell you how amazing this place is. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled we found them. They've done such amazing things with our son from learning the alphabet, to numbers all the way to colors. They also make us feel like family. Lora and all the staff are just incredible. From Ms. Julia to Ms. Diane to everyone who had a helping hand with our son. We're going to miss them so much as unfortunate circumstances in our family have caused us to move our son schools, but it's nothing Harborview did. We're still sad about him not returning. Thank you all for everything. I absolutely 1,000% recommend your child coming here. You won't regret it.

We LOVE Harbor View Daycare! My 3 year old daughter literally RUNS from the car to the door everyday. She CRIES on the weekends when she finds out it’s not a “school day!“ I’m so lucky I found this hidden gem in Port Jeff Village. The school has such an interesting history and has such a warm, welcoming, “homey” feel to it...nothing like the “chain” type daycares we’ve visited in the past. The teachers are so attentive and loving (especially Ms. Lisa) that it’s not surprising my daughter doesn’t even look back at me when I drop her off! The best part is that I can text Lora❤️(the owner) all day to check in on my daughter and she always texts back right away with an update or a picture of what she’s doing at that moment. The rates are extremely reasonable but you can’t put a price on peace of mind...one day my daughter was feeling sick and I couldn’t drop everything at work and come immediately. When I got there to pick her up, Lora was holding her like a baby in the rocking chair and my daughter was holding onto her so tight. It was amazing to see...that she was being loved and cared for just like a mom would. We absolutely love Lora and love Harbor View Daycare. ❤️

After visiting and interviewing 5 different daycares in the area, we chose Habor View for my 6 month old daughter. There is no other word that more accurately describes this daycare than "homey". The staff is extremely attentive to my daughter, always polite, friendly, welcoming and makes learning so much fun! They focus on academics as well as life skills to give children the tools they need to become well rounded and prepared for kindergarten. Habor View facility was recently renovated and even has all new toys, materials, books, etc. They offer competitive prices and a flexible schedule to meet every parents' needs.
