Happy Time Nursery

My daughter has been attending Happy Time for over two years. She started at two and has loved every minute. The staff is professional and loving and the facilities are clean and welcoming. My daughter spends the day riding horses, doing gymnastics and art, playing in the garden, feeding chickens and learning to read and write. There is a lot of play and social interaction, and they are outside for most of the day. I have nothing but positive things to say about this school!

We can’t say enough good things about Happy Time and the confidence they have given our daughter. She is excited to go to school and has developed a love for learning and exploring. She looks forward to school and we’ve been so happy to find a place that balances preparing her for kindergarten curriculum while also developing a love for outdoors, animals, and playing and caring for others. Getting there early for pick up to see the kids all sitting down for tea with porcelain tea cups and saucers is also a joy ❤️

Happy Time was the best all around experience my daughter, and for that matter, my family, could have ever had. My daughter started at Happy Time when she was two and a half, and left for kindergarten this fall. We consider Mary Ann(Big Teacher) and the staff at Happy Time like family, and my daughter cannot wait to have a day off kindergarten so she can return to Happy Time to be a "Teachers's assistant" EVERY morning my daughter could not wait to get to school. She made friends she will have for a lifetime, and learned more than I ever thought a 5 year old could. Happy Time was an integral part in shaping who my daughter is becoming, and I could not be more thankful. Our preschool search began with Happy Time, it also ended with Happy Time:) After the visit, I did not even want to look at any other Preschools-this was it. Ponies, chickens, a garden, tea time, Spanish, music, art, and education......it was magical! Small class size kept the focus on the children and their individual needs. Happy Time was a perfect blend of academics and social skills. As an educator I appreciated the fact that the children were allowed to be kids, to play and learn side by side. Happy Time gave my daughter all of the tools she needed to go into the kindergarten world fully prepared. She was taught about manners(we get compliments ALL of the time on how polite our daughter is), compassion for others and a love for learning. My daughter went into a K/1 split and is currently doing 1st grade work and excelling! It was a sad day for our family, when Addison left for Kindergarten, lots of tears were shed, and not a day goes by when I do not think about the positive impact this unbelievable preschool had on our lives. Big teacher called just the other day, just to catch up and tell my daughter how much she missed her. We love Mary Ann and we love Happy Time, and if I had more children every single one of them would have attended this school!

I adore this school and the amazing Director MaryAnne. I have my second child, graduating from Happy Time soon and after many years I am going to miss everything about it. My children have benefitted from programs, extras and love that no other program in the area has been able to compete with. From horsebacking riding, gardening, spanish lessons, academics and specialized art classes to high tea, manners, respect for each other and self love, I have been so pleased with this school I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else. My current kindergartner entered Solana Santa Fe meeting or exceeding the standards for the kindergarten year, her teacher was extremely impressed with her pre kindergarten preparation. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful, loving, comprehensive, engaging program that not only prepares the children academically, but arms them with social skills.
