Happy Hippo Pre-School

The director Cindy is deceiving and completely not trustworthy. We toured the facility in January and put a deposit down in May to reserve our spot. In September, she called to ask if we would want to move back our start date, and I said no, if anything we need it sooner because our son was born 2 weeks early and I would have to go back to work earlier than originally planned. In October, I sent her an email asking a few questions about part time care and whether the hours are flexible, and two days later she called me back, telling me that she gave our reserved spot to another family. Initially we tried to agree on a part time schedule because we were in such shock and didn't want to lose care all together, but ultimately Cindy would not admit to making a mistake or explain why she gave up our spot without discussing it with us and without our asking for or agreeing to any changes. She tried to distort the timeline by saying that we requested part time care before she gave up our spot, but this was not accurate, as she had already given up our spot before we had even talked about options. When I detailed the timeline for her, she simply replied that we could no longer have our part time spot either. At no point did she offer a viable explanation for what she did. Her apologies were insincere, and she made no attempts to work with us or make things right. As first time parents who worked super hard to plan ahead and have care lined up for our child months before he was even born, she caused us an immense amount of stress and worry at an already stressful time in our lives. The teachers at this school might be great, but if you can't trust the administration, how can you be sure your child is in good hands?

Very Expensive considering they don't provide lunch, the area located in, and the play area.
