We’ve been at Happy Feet for 8 months with our second child. While we had hoped to return to the daycare our first child attended, the location no longer worked for us. We didn’t have personal connections to Happy Feet and were initially skeptical due to its affordable pricing for the area. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. The director is incredibly organized, responsive, and genuinely caring. The space, though small, is always clean and includes a bit of outdoor area for fresh air and play. Most importantly, the teachers are wonderful. My daughter lights up when we arrive, clapping as her teachers greet her and even waving when we spot the building from down the street. The children learn life skills and age-appropriate school prep, and parents stay connected through a WhatsApp group that makes organizing playdates, sharing hand-me-downs, and notifying others of illness easy. We love Happy Feet and wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for high-quality childcare
my daughter blossomed at Happy Feet, it was a warm and welcoming place for her to get her footing before heading off to school. The teachers have been with Happy Feet for a long time and are really dedicated to the families they're working with, the staff is highly communicative with parents and collaborative through transitions like potty training, changing naps, etc. Highly recommend!
Happy Feet is really amazing and I cannot recommend them enough! Laura Gallego is the woman who runs the center, and she is just the best. Her entire staff is also fantastic, communicative, and trustworthy. They are seriously so loving and caring, and it makes me so happy to know the kids are in such great care. It’s also very affordable, at least as far as DC daycare goes. I highly recommend checking them out!
Happy Feet has been one of the best decisions we've made for both of our kids! We've been thrilled with the care and education our kids have received for the past 3 years. Happy Feet is incredible - and on the more affordable side for daycares in the area. Cannot recommend it highly enough!
I cannot recommend Happy Feet enough! The staff is professional and kind, and my daughter arrives and leaves happy every day. The space is clean and even has its own outdoor space, which kids love! I feel good knowing my daughter is in good hands when I got to work.
