I’ve been taking my 18-month old daughter to Happy Faces for a little over a year, and we’re all happy with it. It’s very reasonably priced for the area (it’s only one mortgage payment instead of two!), more flexible than most, and they treat the kids well without climbing up their own butts. I’ll explain. This isn’t a sort of Waldorf-Montessori Citizen Training Jamboree, and the teachers don’t have extensive philosophies on going potty. They skip a lot of the educational hoo-hah that many daycares use to advertise to yuppies. What they DO do is engage my daughter in finger painting, playing games, playing outside, etc. They regularly send home little printed photos of her doing these activities, with observations on development progress written on the back (“Uses thumb and forefinger to grab,” “shared toy with classmate,” etc). The photo on this review was sent using their Lifecubby app and said "She was able to stack one on top of the other." This, to me, is what I really like about Happy Faces. They’re concerned with the children’s development, but it’s no-frills and makes sense. If you are hunting for that perfect philosophy school to get started on your infant’s application to Harvard, this isn’t the daycare for you. If you want people to treat you child well, and to help them grow by using fun and games, Happy Faces Daycare will make you happy (and won’t bankrupt you!) A note on some of the other reviews here: I know what it’s like to be frustrated with the complications of raising a kid while working: being called to get your kid when they’re sick, or an inopportune teacher training day. I have always received ample warnings of closures, and teachers have never sent my kid home when she wasn’t sick. On the other hand, I’ve seen some mothers scream venom and swears at the employees for crazy stupid reasons, and they responded very professionally.

My child attended Happy Faces Early Learning Academy from age 4.5 months until his recent graduation at 3.5. For the first three years of his life, Happy Faces provided a loving, nurturing and strong learning environment for my son. He learned to walk, talk and write at Happy Faces. They also fully potty trained him. The administration is responsive and reliable. The teachers clearly love what they do, and they love the kids. the center also immediately stood up a high-quality virtual option for parents who needed it, so for the first five months of quarantine, my child had structured, high-quality virtual learning that kept him engaged and prepared him for pre-K3. Every day, I knew that my child would be loved and poured into, while also learning something new. My child is advanced and teachers worked with him individually, at his level, to ensure that he was continuing to grow and exceed milestones. I cannot recommend Happy Faces enough.

My son Ashton has attended Happy Faces for over a year. I have been amazed by his growth and development during his time there. He loves going to “school” and as a mother, it warms my heart to know that my son is happy and well taken care of. His teacher, Ms Sally is attentive and keeps me updated on how he is doing. They do a great job keeping the kids engaged with fun activities. I love the pictures that I get of him doing artwork and other projects. I would definitely recommend Happy Faces to anyone looking for a safe, caring environment for their child.

Child: Tommie’Lynn Carter Teachers: Flor, Angel, Maria, Tanisha etc. Mom: Ms. Jackson My daughter has been going here since she was 6 weeks and now she’s 6 months tomorrow. Where do I start. They answered the phone every time called with updates on my child no matter how many times I called when she first started. My daughter is always happy when I pick her up and willing goes to the staff when I drop her off. Everyone in the daycare shows my baby an abundance of love including the director. Ms. Evans is amazing. She runs the daycare as if her own children attend. Very professional and understanding. The women that work with my daughter are all heaven sent. My daughter is very advanced because of her teachers. They also were a big help when I was ready to stop nursing her. Tommie’Lynn hasn’t gotten sick since she started and I love what measures are being took during COVID 19. I appreciate each and everyone of you all. The custodial staff, admin staff and teachers. Thank you

My son absolutely loves happy faces. Our family had a hard time finding childcare that was knowledgeable about breastfed babies and cloth diaper friendly. Happy Faces is both. My son has flourished since he started. He has gained so much coordination and large motor skills as well as social emotional growth. He used to be very shy now he's super friendly to other babies and toddlers. He's also become quite the artist. Our family is more than pleased
