I had terrible experience with Anette the owner- extremely rude and short. My son was always dirty, had bruises and bites and no explanation of what happened. The playground had tons of leaves = mosquitoes as well, keep your kids away from that daycare. I would give 0 star if I could!!!!

An exceptional place to send your children. The service and quality of care offered is unbelievable and unmatched. Blake is lucky to have such a wonderful service so close to their facility. We've been blown away just how wonderful the entire staff is. There's a few recent reviews that are not only disturbing, they're nonsensical. Suggesting that because of a health related concern with a child that somehow the school was stealing from them the and taking advantage of them in some way. We're in the height of a world wide medical crisis and Happy Cub generally speaking is nothing but proactive when it comes to health concerns. They have to consider the health of every child and workers as well as the fact that their students are normally directly connected to people who work at the hospital. To say that they're stealing by following their procedure, which they regularly remind people of, because you've decided it shouldn't apply to your child for whatever reason is not fair to everyone involved. To then suggest you should call the police about it when you haven't and in a format that is one sided is dangerously close to slander especially when the evidence given is hearsay you claim from doctor and based on one-sided information no one else can see without your permission. There should be no question. Happy Cubs is one of the very best places to send your child for your day care needs.

We had a terrible experience with Annette the owner of this place, they sent our child home early and said she had diarrhea, which she didn’t, we brought her to the doctor and the doctor said there’s nothing wrong with her and keep in mind she never went potty till the next morning. So where is this diarrhea, anyway we get a doctors note saying she’s fine and she was also tested for the flue. She was cleared to go back to day care. Then Annette says she can’t come back for 72 hrs, per our policy no medication or symptoms which she never had either. She had 1 soft poop that they call diarrhea and tell us to leave our job early and get her. Our doctor even called Annette and explained to her that she is fine and that teething can cause different things to different kids, our doctor told us she was very short and rude. I think our doctor knows a little more then this nasty I know it all daycare owner Annette. I told Annette that she’s completely unprofessional and should not act this way to us and especially not our doctor. So guess what she does, she keeps our money makes us pay for days the child was not watched and kicks us out, plus she steals the money after she kicked us out for 2 weeks worth, I should have reported her to the police, she knew I would be mad and had the Blake hospital police standing in the other room because she knew she was doing my family dirty and that I would be mad. What you all should know too is our child was falling asleep in the non moving baby bouncer that she can’t get out of in her own and we had a doctors note saying do not leave our child in there for long periods and if she’s falling asleep to take her out, I’ve picked our little 1 year old up from there many times to find her sleeping in there. There thinking is I don’t have to do anything if she confined to a baby bouncer which is not right. And there’s more stories to tell but I’ll just leave it as I don’t recommend this place one bit

We just started our youngest daughter there this summer and we love Happy Cubs! The owner Annette and her staff love those kids! We regret not sending our older kids to preschool there. Definitely recommend!

Both my grandsons attended Happy Cubs from infants to they entered Kindgarden. I can't express how much we depended on their service daily with our precious little ones. They are the upmost caring and professional preschool in Bradenton.
