We only left Oasis Academy (formerly Hands and Hearts) because my husband got a job opportunity out of state, and we still talk about how we miss it! My son loved his time there and his teachers, and you can tell how much all the staff genuinely care about all of the children. I always felt so happy and comfortable dropping him off there and picking him up, and had such a peace knowing that he was cared for so well. Would highly recommend Oasis to anyone in the Lakeland area seeking childcare.

Very grateful for this center for helping get my nieces quickly in and adjusted so well. The staff as a whole are always attentive and acknowledge you as you are moving around the center. They keep you updated throughout the day with what your child is doing and all the activities they participate in. I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking child care. Thank you guys

Terrible place to leave your loved ones. Son is almost two was left with frequent concerning marks weekly and scars on face almost damaging his eye, dirty soiled diapers along with frequent rashes, bite marks left on his body, dehydrated and hungry after pick up and disregarded by staff and kristina. Many times spoken directly about concerns and nothing has been done and ignored. All injuries are claimed to be unknown do to being unsupervised injuries and given false reports to make up fake incidents and expected to sign as I have proof of them admitting to not knowing how injuries occurred. Spoke down too and downplayed on situations of your child’s safety and wellbeing. Witness to seeing a child get a head injury as speaking to staff about my own child’s wellbeing and ignored by staff members. Today is the concern of a bite mark on my child’s lower back and has been brought up to the staff. kristina reply “I was told your son was the one doing the biting today, there will be reports for you to sign, thank you”. The complete disregard and carelessness, I find it frightening that we only hear this when we mention a bite mark on my child. No call of his actions or messages. As parents raising our children we realize they copy everything we do as they grow, as the head of a care facility you would think maybe he is reflecting what is done onto him as he is a loving child and many staff will back that fact. The head of the facility takes the words of her staff over the parents despite every occasion of my child’s injuries by those staff are they don’t know what happened and no report is made until we bring it up and it’s thrown together and we are told to just sign. He has been immediately removed as the situation has become obvious that my child’s safety and wellbeing is second at this facility. Please be mindful as I don’t want anyone’s child being treated as ours have been.

Since the moment you call, to the moment you walk in, you can feel you are making the right decision! I have spent 2 months looking for the right daycare for my 1 year old and I can finally say I know he is in the right place! Everyone is very polite, nice and caring for the little ones! I feel so at peace leaving my baby at their care when I was always so afraid of taking him to a daycare! They keep you informed of every single action if you’re baby, even when their diaper is changed! You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for what you do! Us, mommy’s appreciate you very much!

I’m not here to sabotage this daycare. I just want every parent to know my experience. My daughter has never been in daycare so naturally I knew she would cry for the first week or so. Well, the crying went on literally for 8 weeks ALL DAY. The director suggested to try half days so she wouldn’t cry all day. ( I paid for full days & never was reimbursed for half days) I tried half days like director suggested . Actually , the crying gotten worse. On the 8 th week the morning of she had a different cry, it was a cry of fear. Instead of me leaving I walked her into the 2nd grade classroom to calm her down. I noticed in the room there was a door with a lock bolt on the outside of the door. I asked the teacher what’s in that room? She said a joining bathroom. I opened the door it was a small room Aprox. 3ftx5ft. and seen a toilet bowl and no sink. An alarm went off in my head , I thought to myself why should there be a lock bolt on the outside of the door and my child crying in fear? I dis-enrolled her that day.! I’m not sure really what happened, but I know my child doesn’t cry like this. Director asked me what’s the reason for dis enrollment. I said she’s terrified to come here for some reason and she cried all day. Director said I wouldn’t say that”, but yet you suggested half days!! To top it off since I didn’t give 2 weeks of dis-enrollment notice she charged me 2 extra weeks. What kind of place is this? There was another incident, I did a surprise visit and saw her through the window of her classroom and noticed she had a short smock and panties on. When she left my house she had long pants and a tshirt on . I questioned where’s her pants . They supposedly lost them. I was upset about losing her clothes but more so of her running around the classroom with panties on and no shorts in front of boys. She had 2 sets of clothing in her backpack. My daughter is my world and I would not TRUST them with my gold fish. Beware of this school. I’m not the type of person to leave reviews, but I felt it was a must. —10 stars 🌟!!!!!
