I can’t say enough good things about Handicare. My youngest daughter has attended for 2.5 years. The staff is incredible, they are kind, caring, compassionate, warm, friendly, and fun. The leadership on site is also great, they too are kind, approachable and ensure each child is safe and supported. Handicare is a well run machine. They are organized and keep the kids entertained at their appropriate age and let the kids spend time outside or in a large motor room. They also accommodate children with special needs. It’s truly a wonderful environment and I feel very fortunate my daughter has been able to attend.

This is amazing childcare in Iowa as a whole. The teachers are amazing, very sweet, caring and nice. All my kids started from this great school and I recommend this school for anyone looking for best daycare for their precious kids. Thanks to the director. She’s so supportive and kind. Bravo! Our daughter has been in the newborn room and 1 year old at Handicare for almost a year now and has loved every minute! They use an app to track feedings, diapers, naps and sheets with the same info for newborns. The meals are nutritious and she eats them up. They cover wipes, formula, and diaper cream. Anytime we were concerned about transitions (solids, bottles to sippy cups, 1 year room move) they were already prepared and working on it. Her teachers truly care about her and the other kids and it shows. Management and teachers are easy to communicate with. They maintain a clean and up to date facility, for example they are currently updating the playground. A good testament to Handicare is many of the teachers have worked there for years (some 10 and 15+!). Seeing that longevity in a daycare setting makes it clear they treat their employees well. We feel it is well worth the money and feel safe having our daughter attend Handicare!

Handicare is a caring, safe, and fun place for kids, especially those with special needs. My elder daughter uses a power wheelchair. We sent her to Handicare for summer when she was 4. Handicare took very good care of her and she was very happy with the teachers and kids there. A few years later we sent our little one to Handicare again, who has been with Handicare for 3 years now. She went from the 1 year old class to 2 and then to 3, and will continue! We can feel every morning she is happy to go! The kids at Handicare are friendly and with good manners. The teachers and staff are very caring, responsible, and kind. I will recommend Handicare to everyone looking for a daycare.

Handicare has been absolutely amazing to our family! Where to begin? When my husband and I first toured this place when I was around 20 weeks pregnant, we got the feeling that this daycare was something special. Fast forward to having our 5 month old son in daycare here, we were so right! The employees are experienced, professional, kind, nurturing and go above and beyond. A good portion of their employees I have met have worked here over 10-20 years.. Wow! I love that this place feels like a work family and not like a business. They have been very accommodating to our family's daycare needs, for which I am so thankful. Most importantly, I have peace in knowing they take wonderful care of my child while I am at work! He is happy when I pick him up and tired from all the fun he has had. I highly recommend Handicare daycare without reservation! You will not be disappointed!
