I can't say enough about how much our family loves Hancock Nursery School and summer program. The teachers and staff are caring and attentive. They're creative and good communicators. They do a lot to involve and celebrate their students and families. I have been an educator for 15 years and as a parent of an HNS student, I highly recommend their nursery school and summer programs.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have our son at Hancock Nursery School. He recently relocated with us from Thailand, and this was his very first experience in a U.S. school. From day one, the warm, nurturing environment created by the teachers made him feel safe, welcomed, and understood. The teachers have been phenomenal in helping him adjust—not only to a new school, but to a whole new culture and language. Through play, songs, storytelling, and gentle encouragement, he’s gained so much confidence in speaking English, making friends, and navigating this new environment with joy. Our son genuinely loves going to school every single day. He comes home smiling, singing new songs, and proudly sharing what he’s learned. We are especially grateful for how the teachers support both social and emotional development, in addition to learning through fun and creativity. Hancock has truly become a second home for our family during this big life transition. Thank you to all the amazing teachers for creating such a caring, inclusive, and inspiring place for young children!

We have had 2 extremely different kids go to Hancock Nursery School. One very shy and quiet girl, the other a high energy, loud and playful toddler boy. Hancock Nursery school was/is the perfect place for both of them and their different personalities. The teachers there are amazing at adapting to all kids unique needs. Kids are alway learning through play and the teachers have done a wonderful job at helping and guiding both my children with developing their social-emotional skills as well (as I'm sure they do for every student). From the moment my daughter started at HNS she was welcomed with open arms and our whole family has been treated with respect and kindness. We will be moving states this summer and Hancock Nursery School has set the bar very high, HNS will be a hard school to beat as we search for a new preschool for our son. We can not thank them enough for all they have done for our whole family.

Our family loves Hancock Nursery School! When we first moved to Lexington from a foreign country, we were very concerned about finding a good nursery school where our daughter would feel safe and enjoy attending. Then a friend recommended this nursery school as a great place. They were very kind and welcoming us even though my daughter spoke no English. They taught my daughter many fun, interesting, and important things. And they are sincere, respectful, and fun with the children. Needless to say, my daughter loved going to the nursery school every single day and enjoyed it very much!! We cannot thank this nursery school enough.

Hancock Nursery School has been school to our 3 children over the last 6 years. My first time walking into the school on a hot summer day to drop off a check I was warmly greeted by Ms. Cindy, the director, who showed me around. Ms. Cindy made me feel at home that day and over the years, she made my children feel at home. The staff and the administration knew my children and cared deeply for them. I will miss Hancock and my memories will be with me forever.
