Our experience at Hampton Cove Preschool was truly exceptional. From the moment we toured the school we knew this was a special place. Our daughter attended Pre-K there and received not only a strong academic foundation but also outstanding care and attention. She loved to tell her older siblings that SHE (not them) got to do Spanish, Art, Music, and PE every week—and even went on a field trip every month! Her teachers went above and beyond, taking extra care on the mornings when saying goodbye to mama was hard. The facility was always clean, well-managed, and the communication from staff was consistently clear and prompt. Our daughter especially loved the outdoor space which is spacious, well-designed, and includes a large covered area that allows for play even on hot or rainy days. We’re so grateful for the loving environment and enriching experiences our daughter had at Hampton Cove Preschool.
Our family has benefited from Hampton Cove Preschool since 2020. Through COVID-19, potty training, flu seasons, countless weather days and everything else chaotic that comes with parenting- they have always provided exceptional care and communication. We have been continually impressed with their general approach to childhood development. And even more amazing is the level of thought they put into how they can truly support families in their care. The teachers have been incredible, and HCPS goes to great lengths to retain their talent— turnover has been exceptionally low. This makes a huge difference in my children growing up with so many people who know them and continually show them such genuine care. I highly recommend.
I adore Hampton Cove Preschool. The teachers and staff are friendly and welcoming and you can feel what a wonderful and safe environment it is the moment you enter. The school is bright, clean, lined with children’s artwork, and filled with happy kids. Melissa, the owner, has created a truly exceptional business. She is there in person on a daily basis to ensure things are running smoothly and communicates often and thoroughly. The kids have wonderful learning opportunities including extracurricular options throughout the day, well-educated staff, and ample parent resources. I am truly grateful my girls have had the good fortune to spend their pre-K years here.
Update: 2025 Hampton Cove Preschool is simply exceptional! From the moment my children stepped through the door, we felt welcomed and embraced by the warm and nurturing environment. The teachers are truly dedicated and passionate about early childhood education. They create engaging and stimulating lesson plans that cater to each child's individual learning style. I've been consistently impressed with the variety of activities offered, from art and music to science, outdoor exploration and learning a foreign language. My children’s social and emotional growth has blossomed under their care. The communication with parents is also outstanding; I receive regular updates and photos, which gives me a wonderful glimpse into my children’s learning and playing day. 2021: I wholeheartedly recommend Hampton Cove Preschool to any parent seeking a top-notch preschool experience for their little one. I can't make enough virtuous remarks about this facility and its staff. Their communication and coordination is bar none. As far as reminders about events, emails, texts, and other forms of communication, they’re used often. They are on top of it. The facility is super clean and the teachers really have levels of compassion and care that I would have never expected. When my son transitioned to the "Baby Sharks", the correct information was passed from one class to the other seamlessly. If you have a child here, please observe them when in a peer group with others from different schools. I guarantee you'll see a variance. They also offer a Parent's Night Out!
This is a truly special place. It's been a real "home away from home" for our kids. We have 3 children who have attended over the last 2 years, from the older infant classroom to the preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms. We couldn't be happier with the facilities, organization, cleanliness, meals, rules, academics, and teachers. We have seen very little, if any, turnover of staff or families. You can tell the teachers are happy to be there, and they all seem to know my kids even if they aren't in their classes. The administrators are so caring, knowledgeable, and helpful, and they're always on top of things even before I ask about them. We are moving soon and will truly miss HCP. I never thought the the hardest part of moving would be leaving my kids' preschool!
