I’ve went to many public and private schools. I’ve went to schools in Ohio and other states as well. I’ve NEVER attended a school that has zero field trips, zero award ceremonies, zero Christmas concerts. I feel like we were sold a lie when it came to finding the best district. These poor teachers are teaching 27+ students per class, this is out of their hands and I imagine half the time they feel burned out, but this also affects the students. The schools report card is an absolute reflection of overcrowded classrooms, in my opinion. I could kick myself for purchasing a house in this area, because I bought into the delusions of people who have lived here their entire lives. This district mediocre at best. We have had some great teachers. But that’s not enough to make up for where this district is lacking.
The administration is only worried about trying to make there school look good. The only positive thing I can say is that they sent my grandson to a different school. There is no way anyone can convince me that a child going to their school in 7th grade can flunk out, go to their outside of district school for a child with an IEP and behavioral and get A and B's. That alone tells me that the staff does not care. I would never ever recommend this school if your child has disabilities period. All either one of principals could do is send my grandson home they never wanted to try and help him. I have zero confidence or respect for them.
The district used to be great but now it's overcrowded and I am sure there are a lot of kids that go there because the parents lying and using other people's address. The school doesn't do anything about. Every parent should be bring something proving they live at said house or do a visit. It also doesn't help that Obetz keeps getting bigger in return more kids at Hamliton and even Groveport. They need a school that goes to K thru 12 for the overflow of children and this will help teachers not feel so overwhelmed and ran down, and stressed.
This school more the middle schools is a hell I’m a student there and let me tell you it’s too much you get bullied the teachers don’t do anything about it and they have rule that’s are just stupid us girls we can’t wear what we want this is bs
Every school in the district BUT the middle school is ok. The middle school probably has the worst staff iv ever seen. Teachers treat students with disrespect. Teachers gossip about students. The staff is a hot mess. Not to mention the students. It’s constant drama. The head staff take sides and favorite children. last time I checked teaching is a profession meaning you act professional at all times with students. I wouldn’t recommend your child going here. I’ve seen multiple kids suffer because of the staff and other students. The staff doesn’t care about the students they only care about making their money.
