Guardian Angel Child Development Center

The staff here is amazing! Mr Guerra, Amanda, and Miranda are all great wonderful people. My kids have been going here almost 2 years now and the staff has just been phenomenal! I’ve had issues with my son there lately due to environmental changes within our home, but the staff at Guardian Angel are so considerate and have worked with me thru the issues. I believe the staff really has their best interest in the children that attend there. They even have great learning activities within the classrooms. I have noticed much growth within my children over the past 2 years. They really enforce gentle teaching. I have had nothing but great experiences here and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

On the contrary my daughter has been at Guardian Angel since she was 6 months old and they have taken very good care of her. I have dealt with both Miranda and Amanda and they both have communicated with me with my daughters progress. My daughter was having trouble going down for her nap time (Laura) and Mr. Guerra would be hangs on with her including Miranda. Then I started having issues with her behavior, but I addressed the issue on her on where it was coming from , and we work together as team to resolve the issue. I work full time and yes they called us one time not to take in our child due to being short staff. I have talk to other centers who are short staffed as well and follow the same protocol. Not sure what went one with the other parent who wrote the previous comment and the extend of the situation, but again my daughter is a hand full and they have worked with me. I have seen it first hand myself that Miranda doesn't favor any kids and she has been very patient with me and my Aunt. The entire staff has been very helpful :)

We have been taking our children to Guardian Angel Daycare since 2014, and the experience we've had has always been positive. Our kids love it there...The owners and teachers are wonderful!!! They have a great heart and want the best for all the children who have been trusted to their care. They make us feel welcomed whenever we drop off our kids and pick them up. I can tell that most of the teachers love what they do, you cannot be successful as a daycare worker if you do not love children....they care and we appreciate all that they do for our kids and all the children at the center. This daycare has been serving the south side of San Antonio for decades now, and I must say, they are doing a great job and definitely doing something right!!!...All I know is, there is no PERFECT daycare out there...you can only work with what you have, provided you know that your children are safe, loved and cared for... everything else I believe would fall into place...it is a collaborative effort! To Mr. & Mrs. Guerra and the Guardian Angel staff, please keep up the good work, and may God continue to bless you as you serve our precious little angels...I absolutely recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a place where their children can feel safe and cared for. We appreciate all that you do! Thank you....

I love Guardian Angel Child Development Center Mrs. Guerra always made me feel apart of her family. I have worked here for a year and daughter has attended since she was 6 weeks. I would not trust her with anyone other than Ms. Amanda in the infant room. They do great art work and give the children they deserve and need. We do have a few negative reviews from some disgruntled parents however we’re only shared after they were released from our center. Come in and give us a chance. 😁

If I was able to give Guardian Angel Daycare 10 stars I would. A few months ago I started fostering 2 children. I searched high and low for other daycares, everywhere I went was full, I came across Guardian Angel, which was highly recommended by other parents where I work, they had one opening for the summer program. I jumped on it. Of course my babies had to be separated but it was a blessing in disguise. My foster daughter still continues to blossom she has learned so much. Compassion for other children, and love from ALL the adults. At Guardian Angel the children are not just a paycheck, they are family!! Since then I now have both my babies enrolled. They come home with different activities and lessons that they have done, but most importantly they have so many wonderful memories. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Guerra, ALL teachers and staff, for everything you do everyday for my babies. I know they can be a handful. But you have never complained or given up on them. #ittakesavillage #youaremyvillage
