We have had both of our children at growing with pride for over 4 years now. The experience for our kids has been amazing. The teachers are great, the facility is great. Our kids are being challenged and growing by leaps and bounds and we couldn't be happier.
My experience with growing with pride was great first six months then there was a teacher change for what ever reason and it turned into nightmare. We had to put our daughter into another school and one of the teachers told my wife how bad our child was for ten minutes straight till she looked up saw my wife in tears. My daughter cried, begged us not to go there and finally we listened. She is in new school for over five months now and doing wonderful and our happy little girl is back.
We had both of our kids there for the last 5 years. We always felt welcomed and like our kids were being well cared for. The kids loved all of their teachers and always enjoyed going to school. We recently moved away and we miss everyone there so much!
Posting for the location by the same name, around the corner. I think this location is geared more towards babies (?) But the two listings are a little confusing. This place is wonderful. We checked out 10 preschools and worried we wouldnt find a good one we could afford. My 4 year old loves his teachers, especially Teacher Cheryl whos the sweetest lady you could meet. The teachers here are actual educators/finishing their degrees etc. Not just glorified baby sitters/day care employees. They strike a great balance between curriculum and just carefree childhood fun and play. Additionally you get the most for your money here. The teachers are really underpaid Im sure. 3 days a week my child gets fed 2 meals a day plus snacks, snack is only required to be provided for the class by the parents 1 day a month, they have a large outdoor playground and they take a field trip every month. I also have 11 hours a day available to me to drop off and pick up my child if I need to, no extra charge. School is 9 to 330 but they operate from 7am to 6pm. Thats a huge value compared to other preschools in the same price range.
HORRIBLE! If you read what Matt Sanders said, this is exactly almost on par with what happen with our child. We had a good 6 months, then starting having some issues. Our son ended up staying there for almost 16 months, until one day, they told us our child was unsympathetic, and the problem child.(My wife was crying, she felt like such a bad mother when that is exactly the opposite) Our son is 20 months. He wants to give everyone hugs, and kisses. I'll be the first to admit our child is not an angel. In fact, he is a wild child. To call him unsympathetic, and a problem child though is absolutely disgusting. They threaten to remove him from daycare because he bit a kid, and broke skin. They told us to make a doctors appointment. So you know what. We did, and our pediatrician said it was completely normal for kids at his age to bite our of frustration or just because they are excited. When asked when our child had broken skin on the other child they said it was a week ago... They waited a week to COMMUNICATE the problem? In between our son had been scratched in the eye, had bruises all over his body. I am convinced these daycare people targeted our child, because he wasn't "EASY" We payed them 1200 a month, sorry our child wasn't "EASY" I'd be very cautious of this daycare.
