The Growing Tree North family has been exactly that for myself, my wife & our 3.5 year old daughter; a family! Not only is there daily support for our daughter, every employee there knows her name. In addition, the teachers & the director have helped us as parents to ease the transition & how to push through any concerns as our little girl starts to learn her way. Going above & beyond is the norm at this facility from the moment of drop off till pick up. So much so that our little girl is never in a rush to leave & go home when picked up at the end of the day.

I cannot say enough good things about Growing Tree. My son is 2 1/2 and has been attending since he was 3 months old. He has learned so much since he started and loves all of the staff and teachers! He comes home every day talking about everything he did that day. When my daughter was born, we sent the kids to another daycare thinking the technology and apps of the other daycare would be better but I was horrified at how wrong I was. I sent both kids back to Growing Tree as fast as possible and realized staff and the love they give towards the kids goes a lot further than being able to communicate through an app. Thank you to all the staff at Growing Tree for being such a positive big part of my children's life as they’re learning and growing!

It was mistake taking my child there. More hassle than I was promised. Teacher wasn't taking care of the class. Especially smaller kids group. Smaller kids need love, stability, acceptance. Teacher Im referring doesn't show any of that. My child was stressed out, unsecured on high level, frustrated because of the teacher. Was crying ever time I will drop him/her off. Teacher created so much fear, that it was to much. I saw another parents were struggling the same way. Many times after dropping off I saw my child crying laying on the floor and teacher wounds do anything. My heart was broken many times. Director is promising amazing care that is definitely not there.

My personal experience with this place. Growing tree is HORRIBLE place. Many parents I know, are upset as well. There UPK program is struggling finding teachers because there are leaving. I don’t know how this place was picked by the Roslyn Public Schools. The teachers are changing every few month because no-one wants to work there. My son was bitten 3 times and probably it would still happen if I wouldn’t take him out. He develops fear and stress. This place doesn’t have a love and care what small kids needs. Many times I would pic him up and he would be hungry. I paid for school lunches and they will not paid attention if child is eating. After I transfer my son to another place, he was entering class room with smile on his face running to the teacher with hugs. Not like Growing tree. Dawn is ripping people of on deposit. I heard about that and now Im a victim. Be aware. She is twisting her words to deny what she’s saying. Write everything what she says, or she will deny it saying I don’t remind According to NEW YORK STATE LAW - DEPOSIT is refundable, RETAINER are not. This place is way behind with technology. No security cameras. No frequent reports. No app. I hope this will clear your mind and decision if you want to enroll your child there. Teachers are underpaid. Overworked. Some of them are not even certified and shes taking advantage of that. Imagine how is that effecting your child. There are better places with convenient hours, where early drop off is not rip off as GT. Also home made meals are everywhere included. The way Dawn is running it, its pure rip of for the parent. Terrible , terrible place.

One of the hardest thing to do as a first time parent is entrust someone else with your child, but the Growing Tree staff made our little boy feel like he had an extended family. A truly caring and safe place for all the little ones we came across in his 12 months there. The attention from his teachers and care they showed on the early days that he struggled really had a huge impact in his ability to cope and for that we are eternally grateful. Clean facilities and most importantly year-round day care.
