What Parents Say
Reviews are mixed and highly polarized. Some parents praise friendly and helpful staff, while others report serious concerns about staff conduct, safety protocols, safeguarding issues, and inconsistent treatment of students. Many negative reviews reference experiences from decades ago, though some recent concerns about staff behavior and accountability remain.
This school has serious safeguarding and accountability problems. Staff escalated minor situations unnecessarily, while ignoring major issues involving inappropriate adult behaviour and vulnerable students. I also witnessed staff openly discussing students within earshot, which is unprofessional and unacceptable. I experienced a situation where another student physically restrained me, followed by false documentation being written about my behaviour. If you are disabled or vulnerable, I would not recommend attending.
I went there somewhere around 1988. What did was nurse school training and I meet a guy there was Steven gevedon when he left he came back to visit me the teachers had die. So I got to pick up another job to take i didn't I left with Steven and got married so then I hread to 2 people where in love they're gonna hit by train on railroad tracks. That was so sad so if you take your love one s they don't watching you it's not a safe place to go too 😢 I'm 60yr old I seal have nightmares about this place
Hello, Ash here. from when I was there, it is in fact haunted as I’ve had spoken to a ghost in my dorm who actually told me how they died but I won’t say much about that. There is a lot of drama yes, but overall it wasn’t too bad since I made lots of friends there. The staff wasn’t so bad. The nurses weren’t bad either, though they do take forever I would say, especially if I needed to get to class. One security guard was pretty rude to me until they realized and apologized to me so she was pretty nice and I hope is doing ok. Btw, if you meet someone named ila, just avoid her and don’t let her boss you around or tell you things that make you feel down. Uhm, also when I was there and tried to do drives Ed, the drivers Ed people checked my eyes, said they would check them with my glasses but never did and said I needed eye training, but they didn’t even try to help me. And if I went home for eye training then I wouldn’t have been able to do my program because my home is 3 hours away from the center. Don’t trust drivers Ed because they will just assume your completely blind :/ Overall, I hope everyone at the center are ok despite the drama. All the drama could be why they treat everyone like a kid, also it’s stupid they don’t let you sit in the same van as your lover or lovers, because what are they gonna do if someone has 7 lovers or something and all 7 are dating each other? Lol… but anyway, that is the end of my little banter… :)
While I was there, another student, male, entered the dormitory. He was being escorted by a very angry looking security lady from right where I would have been taking a shower if I had not started taking a shower in the morning. I kept seeing this guy in the girls dormitory, but I figure he had special permission to be there. I mean, there were people who got to skip class after all and the first moment I needed a break from classes for a day or two, I got called up on a speaker and told to go to class or go see a nurse. So I do say that certain people had special permission to do things. Also, the elevator got stuck and the washer and dryer were getting run all on their own accord. My laptop was shocking me and it had a bunch of staples that wouldn’t let go. This to me seems like an electrical problem. I was treated as if I had brain damage. I was prevented from going get pads at the store because I got confused where my class was and ended up late.I was in classes that taught me how to clean myself. Also, the nurses told me that the color of my birth control pills didn’t matter. They also left a male police officer to speak to someone who has a problem with guys, validation and sex. All I felt was shame. And I took birth control to regulate my periods. Not because I was sexually active. I have PCOS/endometriosis. That place is also haunted.
I had an awesome experience! Every staff member was always willing to help me and knew when I was in distress.
