I am very pleased with Growing Room Christian Academy. My son absolutely adores his teachers, Ms. Monet, Ms. Meme, and Ms. Makayla. They are incredibly kind and nurturing toward the children. He has learned so much since starting there. The director, Shaundra, creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the environment feels like home. I highly recommend this daycare.

Giving the Growing Room Christian Academy 5 star review for first impressions. We had a tour today with them, and Kim made us feel very welcomed and was super kind to us. We toured another location the same day, and would’ve rated them a 2/5 for first impressions. We’re excited for our child to join!!

We have had our child at this daycare since he was one. He is now three and he LOVES it. We love the staff and most of all we trust them with caring for our little guy. We have another on the way and we have already made sure to put him on the waiting list for this location as well. My son is very attached to his teacher, Miss. Ashley and she goes above and beyond to take care of the children in her class. He looks forward to seeing her everyday at school and even talks about her over the weekend. Everyone at this location does a great job of working together and communicating with the parents as well. We are greeted every morning with a smile and we really appreciate all that Shaun, Rachel, Macie, Ashley and all the other staff members do for us and our child. Also 10/10 for always being clean and tidy!

I was forced to move my car while waiting for an elderly lady to go inside and come out with her grandson because the bus could not park in the available parking and HAD to park in my spot. When I asked if they had any policy in regards to not being able to park there at this time, I was specifically told there were not any policies in that regard, but that I had to move my vehicle

My daughter is in Infant Room 1A. She is getting adjusted to her teachers and new environment. We love it. ❤ She is learning and growing. Update: We still love it here. Infant 2 (Mrs. Summer and Ms. Raven are the best). Update from Toddler room to Now: My daughter has been at Growing Room Christian Academy since she was 9 months old—she’s now 4 and preparing to transition to Pre-K in August. Our journey here has been filled with highs and lows, and as we close this chapter, I want to share an honest reflection. Our toddler and 2-year-old classroom experiences were truly wonderful, and I’m so thankful for Ms. Kennedy (no longer there), Ms. Anna, and Ms. Bri (also no longer there). The years in those classrooms were exactly what I had hoped for, and honestly, they exceeded my expectations. Those teachers created a foundation that was loving, structured, and full of developmentally appropriate learning and care. Update from later part of 2024: Now for this year in K3B. Unfortunately, this school year has been disappointing. The extreme teacher turnover since August 2024 deeply affected the consistency, structure, and energy of the classroom. While there were occasional bright moments, the overall feel of school, fun, and meaningful learning was missing. At times, it felt more like a babysitting service than an early learning environment. With a background in education and child development, I’ve given grace, patience, and understanding. I know firsthand how demanding this work can be. But as a parent, I hoped for an environment that consistently nurtured curiosity, growth, and stability for both the children and staff. Current review update 7/31/2025: That said, we are now just one day away from our last day at GRCA, and I want to end on a note of gratitude. The summer program has been amazing, and I must shout out Ms. Myranda. She has truly been the saving grace for this class. I honestly believe that if she had started with these children back in August, my daughter and her peers would be so much farther along. In just a short few months, she turned my frown into a smile. I pray she continues on and becomes a steady, shaping force for future classes. Ms. Jadia also deserves recognition. Through all the ups and downs, she has held the fort down with quiet strength and a growing presence. I see so much potential in her, and I appreciate her steady hand during this transitional time. Growing Room Christian Academy is a place where kids can grow and learn, and I’ve seen that firsthand. But moving forward, I hope leadership truly listens to families and invests in their staff. Check in often. Watch for burnout. Equip teachers with the tools, training, and empathy they need to succeed. Accountability matters, but so does support. Don’t grow weary in well doing, our children deserve your best. We are forever grateful for the opportunity to have entrusted this team with loving, nurturing, and teaching our strong-willed daughter Aelissa. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later. Regardless of the ups and downs we still love it here. Thank you for the memories. From November 1st to July 31st, this has been my full-circle, honest review.
