We love Greenway Learning Center! It is a warm, inclusive environment that focuses on play-based learning. The staff work incredibly hard to make the center a fun place to learn and grow, and the teachers care for the children like they are their own. It's wonderful to see the strong bonds between our daughter and her teachers. My daughter loves GLC so much that she tries to negotiate with me to stay longer every day. There's a lot of parent involvement, too, which gives you this instant community. There are play groups on the weekend once a month and you have the opportunity to attend many fun family events. We highly recommend GLC!

Greenway is a terrific child care center. I have two children enrolled in the school. I first enrolled my son at Greenway when he was in the toddler classroom. I anticipated a difficult transition but he enjoyed Greenway right from the start. This has not changed in the three years since his enrollment. He is now in the preschool class. Additionally, I enjoy the programming and staff at Greenway so much, I enrolled my newborn daughter in the infant room once I returned to work. The school day is consistent. There is daily outside play which both of my children enjoy immensely. Each classroom follows a unique schedule which helps children learn. As my son has grown and moved from the toddler classroom, to the two classroom and now the preschool classroom, he has enjoyed learning the new schedules and expectations for each classroom. My daughter is still in the infant room but she loves going to Greenway. Each morning, upon arrival at Greenway, she excitedly squeals and jumps right into play! Programming is themed and there are frequent celebrations at Greenway. The staff is consistently undergoing continuous education. Many staff members have been at the center for many years and are excellent care providers. The younger staff are able and encouraged to attain further professional certifications. The facility is open, clean and set up to welcome children. The toys and furnishes are regularly cleaned and rotated. The playground is great and enables children to have varied outside play. Finally, the school does allow for Soccer Shots to offer optional soccer lessons to students through the school, during the school day. I love this add-on and so does my son. I love Greenway and so does my family. I am so glad we visited to see for ourselves how great this program is.

Greenway is great! My son just left for kindergarten and was more than prepared. One day he said something was a conflagration, which is not a word that I taught him, but something he learned at GLC. My younger son is still there and loves it! The entire time my older son was there (5 months-5 years) and now with my younger son, I have not once had to worry about their care. The teachers really care for them and treat them well. It's really hard to leave my children everyday, but I know that they are well taken care of while I go to work.

Love, love, love Greenway!!! Both our boys have attended Greenway (the oldest just graduated to kindergarten). The teachers are loving and competent, and the facility is cheerful and fun. I've always felt completely confident leaving my children in their care. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have a child at Greenway, and another who graduated and went on to kindergarten after attending for almost five years. The thing I like about Greenway is that I never have to worry about my children's care. It is a fun, safe and nurturing environment. Greenway also did a fantastic job of preparing my son for kindergarten. Additionally, Greenway is very convenient for parents. They basically only close for federal holidays and follow the UMD status for snow days. It is a not for profit center with a parent run, volunteer board, so tuition rates are reasonable.
