My life changed completely because of the freedom, love & guidance I’ve received. freedom city church will always find you at the best time & I can’t ever forget what it got me out of. I have been attending Freedom since 2013. As a youth I remember attending Freedom and being surrounded by many people who became more like family. As they would pick my sister and I up for Bible study from school, as we met their families and as they saw me grow, they continued to speak life into my life even during different transitions I was going through as a teenager. In 2018, my family had gone through a transition where we had gotten kicked out of our house due to not being able to afford the rent anymore. My mom, little sister and myself reached out to family members to see if they were willing to let us sleep in their home for the time being as we were going through this experience of homelessness, but they refused. As we reached out to our Freedom family for help, they received us with open arms. A woman we grew close to from Freedom opened her doors to us. This was where my life personally changed forever. She brought us in when our own family members did not want to. She taught us how to pray every morning and every night. She taught us how to live a life going after God wholeheartedly, and was that example I needed as I was a teenager. This was the season in my life where I knew that I didn’t need to be perfect in order to be accepted within Freedom, but instead that we are surrounded by people who will help us and encourage us in our time of need. This love and discipleship that helped take place in my life had encouraged me to open up a Bible study in Whittier College. As I have been a witness to the goodness that God has shown me in my life, I am able to help other youth and young adults through the same things I have gone through. I am truly grateful for Freedom, as it has helped transform my life from being someone who was helpless and in need into someone who is able to help other women in their lives through the Word of God.

Six years ago, I walked into this church broken, depressed, suicidal, and recovering from an accidental overdose. Everything seemed lost, but then I took one of the classes we offer, called *Lifestyle of Freedom*. Through that, I was paired with a coach who prayed for me and walked with me step by step toward my healing. God worked a miracle in my life—He healed me, restored my soul, and brought restoration to my family and my relationships. I found my place in the House of God, serving faithfully, and eventually became a leader. I am beyond grateful for Pastor Jason and for everything God has done through Freedom. My life is a living testimony of His grace and power!

I have been coming to Freedom for 4 years ! The Holy Spirit led me to this church when I was crying out to God . I was going through addiction, broken heart, and Felt as if I had no purpose in life. When I came here I Knew God had built this place for me. As I got established here, God set me free from addiction, healed my broken heart and gave me purpose in my life. God truly is in this place. My mom and my Dad are now also established here. God helped them in a mighty way as well. I honestly can say, God restored my family and has given us a vision for our lives. Thank you to my Senior Pastors, Pastor Jason and Liz for laying their life down and answering the call of God on their lives.
