I have been attending Greenleaf Friends Academy for a little over two years now. I enjoy the like-minded community and the classical Christian curriculum found at GFA. The teachers are all very kind hearted and care about their students to enrich their knowledge from biblical and logical viewpoints. The staff and students are always there to have your back when you've had a bad day or celebrate you in your successes. The memories and friends made at GFA become the most cherishable moments of students lives. As a senior, class of 2025, I highly recommend Greenleaf Friends Academy.
My family and I have really enjoyed being part of the GFA community! The student culture is outstanding and has allowed my daughter to flourish and grow in her faith and as a leader amongst her peers. The classical Christian education has helped her to grow in virtue and as a thinker, which my wife and I greatly value in the times in which we live.
We are headed into our 4th year at GFA and just love it. The community is wonderful and the education is top notch. I’m learning along with my kids as well! My husband is alumni and honored to continue this tradition. If I can give anyone advice it’s to start them early, it’s a commitment but the small classes early on really help. It’s been fun to see God working in the school as well as my kids hearts. Wasn’t sure about the uniforms at first but now I’m a huge advocate. Mornings are so easy, kids are used to it, and it looks professional in a world of crocs & sweat pants (don’t worry my kids have those too). 🥰
My grandchildren have attended several Christian schools in the Boise area since 2005. Greenleaf Friends Academy has by far been their best experience. I often ask them how they like GFA, and each one consistently responds that they love it. It is wonderful to see a school like GFA, which is over 100 years old, still true to its mission of uplifting Christ through the daily efforts of its excellent staff.
I love GFA because people care about me there. I go to school there and I always get as much help from the teachers as I need and I always have friends that care about me in a very real way. I love being able to express myself and be completely me without feeling like being myself is wrong because it isn't "cool" or "fashionable". You can talk about real things with your teachers and sometimes if they see that a topic is important to continue discussing, they will halt all their prior plans. Greenleaf has changed my world because for the first time, I'm starting to see God's hand in everything and it's beautiful.
