I love this YMCA. I've always found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. I super love the sauna and pools and spin room. I agree the locker rooms could use some updating, that's really the only thing I have to say. Any time I've had an issue (some guy was vaping while on the treadmill) the staff immediately took care of it.

Have been a member for over year. The staff is great. The facility is well maintained and clean. The indoor pool is great. Outdoor pool which is seasonal also wonderful. Highly recommend this Y!

The YMCA in Brookfield is extraordinary. The list of amenities is remarkable. Here is a list, although nowhere near inclusive, of some of them. Indoor pool for lap swim, smaller indoor heated pool for stretching, water aerobics, small children; outdoor Olympic size swimming pool covered with a dome for winter use, and uncovered during the summer; Spin cycle room (which unfortunately occupies the space that was formerly a racquetball court); several weight rooms with every type of machine imaginable (except a curling machine. They used to have one. Nobody knows what happened to it.); a huge indoor basketball court; an indoor track; an expensive locker room with steam sauna; standard locker room at a much lower and affordable fee (it has no steam sauna, but who really needs or uses a steam sauna? It is way too hot in there!); Summer Day Camp for the kiddies; friendly front desk staff; so many different classes offered, it is impossible to list; plenty of parking; and the weather is always nice there even when it is raining. How this is possible, I don’t really know. All I do know is that exercise is essential to a healthy life. Before I exercise, I feel miserable and tired. After exercise, I feel happy and tired. I can’t wait until my next work out. I urge you to do the same at the YMCA in Brookfield.

I have been going here for about a year now, and i think i am going to cancel my membership soon. every single time i go several other people young and old leave machines sweaty and gross and never wipe them down. it really grosses me out and i always wipe down my machines before and after. I wish the staff said or did something about it so that I don't have to ask other members to do it and they just give me a dirty look or get embarrassed themselves. like bro yes i want you to wipe it down i can see your whole anatomy in sweat left behind on the seat. It would be whatever if it was occasionally but its like 80% of the members that go are either very young and don't know any better or very old and don't know in the first place. I have immune compromised people at home and I always worry I may bring home something after a workout I picked up at the YMCA

I love the group training at this club. I am especially inspired by Coach Marisa, she is a benchmark of physical endurance that I want to aspire to. In the summertime, we like to take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool with the whole family. It is only a bit frustrating that free swimming is available only in the evening and there is little space for families in the pool, which sometimes causes pandemonium. Another unpleasant moment: the reception staff seems to be unaware of the options that the membership includes. We were denied access to the sauna, even though the club's website clearly states that it is included in the membership. From the suggestions for the improvement of the club's space: - better clean the outdoor pool and floor of the Studio; - revise the space in the outdoor pool to make it more comfortable for family swimming; - and inform the reception staff to ensure that their awareness is in line with what is stated on the official website. I wish you prosperity, a friendly and hard-working team and bright future prospects!
