We absolutely love Green Garden Child Development Center! Our daughter has been attending for 2.5 years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience she’s had. The nature-based, play-centered curriculum is incredible—she learns so much through exploration and creativity, and we see her growing more confident and curious every day. The teachers and staff are truly exceptional. Ms. Hannah, Ms. Madison, Mr. Geordan, and Mr. Nathen go above and beyond to create a safe, engaging, and loving environment for the children. We are so grateful for the care and dedication they show every single day. Our daughter looks forward to school and talks about her teachers and the fun activities with so much joy. We’re also extremely impressed with the nutrition program. The meals are healthy, balanced, and clearly made with love—our daughter absolutely loves them! Thank you, Green Garden team, for all the energy, kindness, and heart you put into your work. We feel so lucky to be part of this amazing community!
Green Garden Madison Heights has been such an incredible place for our family. The teachers genuinely see the kids — not just as students, but as little humans learning how to navigate their world. The classrooms are calm, warm, and intentional, and you can feel the difference the moment you walk in. My child comes home confident, regulated, and excited to tell me what they explored. The teachers don’t rush children through their day. They guide, model, and help them build real skills… conflict resolution, independence, emotional expression, teamwork. It’s the kind of learning you can’t quantify on a worksheet, but you can absolutely see it in who your child becomes. Communication is solid, the environment is clean and organized, and the entire team treats families with the kind of care that makes you feel like you’re part of something special. If you’re looking for a place that goes far beyond “daycare,” Madison Heights is it. My child is thriving, and I’m grateful every day that we found this campus.
Our daughter has attended Green Garden since 6 months (now 14 months) part-time Every teacher we interacted with shows deep care, patience and genuine love for children. We get many updates a day showing her engaged in activities, reading, eating with friends, playing outside and loving on her teachers! We made the mistake of pulling her out a few weeks ago to pursue a cheaper at-home daycare alternative. We realized quickly that our daughter was not receiving the same level of care, attention and love green garden offered her, it is truly unique. We are so grateful Ms. Lannie and staff are thrilled to welcome our daughter back full-time! Despite the higher cost, this is the best decision for our family and looking forward to many more years of being apart of the green garden family!
Don’t give them any money for the priority list. I paid to be on the list one year ago with only two people ahead of me. And was never called back when I called to ask about it I was told they hope I found somewhere. I want my money back. This is a Scam. Where is the response about my 50 dollars and why I wasn’t contacted or refunded? This dismissal of my wife’s concerns about the money and not responding is very deceitful . I will be escalating to the next step. Most down payments and wait list are non refundable expect for a breach . And I think not actually putting us on the list nor contacting us is a breach on their part. All I want is my 50 dollars back. We received zero contact in a year except for my wife post because it made them look bad.
PARENTS BEWARE! I first toured the Hazel Park Green Garden, then decided to tour Madison Heights because it’s closer to my home and came highly recommended by a colleague. The staff here seem really great and I believe they truly are. I got a great tour and fell in love with the place. I paid the $50 deposit to be added to the “priority waitlist.” I never heard from them again. Not one follow-up email or phone call. No updates about my child’s placement on the list. No offers to take my child at another Green Garden in the area until space becomes available. Only radio silence…for months - 6 months, to be exact. Safe to say I’ve been ghosted. Not telling you to stay away. Just hoping that by sharing my personal experience, I’ll save you $50 bucks and lessen some of the pressure you may be feeling to join that priority waitlist. Just join the free waitlist. Good luck in your search for a safe and loving place for your precious little ones!
