Green Garden has been great for my daughter since she was 8 weeks old. At 2 years old now, she asks to go to school every day, even on weekends. I think that really shows how much she enjoys being there. What works well at Green Garden is their mix of learning activities and free play. They let kids get messy with sensory activities and art projects. My daughter comes home with paint on her clothes and dirt on her shoes, which can be inconvenient but shows she's been actively engaged all day. The children go outside daily regardless of weather. They garden, collect items from nature, and learn through direct experience. This outdoor time has really developed my daughter's interest in the natural world. Green Garden is good at working with different learning styles. They understand children develop at their own pace and adjust their teaching accordingly. This creates a space where all children can succeed and feel included. Their program is well-planned by teachers who care about the children. They combine educational activities with play effectively. My daughter returns home with new songs, art, and stories about her day. Green Garden Hazel Park is phenomenal. We have both of our daughters enrolled there and all the teachers take such care and pride in nurturing our girls. They love to spend their days there, and they are learning so much. We feel so grateful to have found a place like Green Garden and appreciate all that the teachers do for our little ones!
Green Garden, specifically the Hazel Park location has been the most wonderful environment for my son to learn and grow. The teachers are the gold-standard for 'how its done.' They treated my sons food allergies with such care, and has been the only daycare we've been to that has never made a mistake. They actively taught my son about his allergies and taught him how to ask "does this have XYZ?" which I hadn't even started to do! The kids never want to leave at pick up, which is a great thing :)
My child attended daycare here and our family LOVED it. Experienced, compassionate and capable teachers, nutritious food, a teaching philosophy that promotes healthy social emotional development and life skills through play and inquiry, and a cute and nature-based outdoor playground! They also offer classes, curriculum night and family meetups. I would highly recommend Green Gardens to anyone in the area.
I am so glad that we found Green Garden. We have been sending our daughter there since she was five months and we know that she is getting amazing care. She adores the teachers and is learning so much. I cannot say enough good things about Green Garden, and I am so grateful we have a place that takes such good care of our daughter while we are at work. It is an amazing peace of mind!
