Both my children attended Green Beginning and loved it, we are sad to leave now that they are moving on to grade school. Our family has been part of the Green Beginning Community Preschool family for five incredible years, and it's been nothing short of exceptional. There is no school like Green Beginning. The directors Veronica and Keone are the greatest people you will ever meet. They created a community of diverse families where children can learn, grow, get dirty, make friends in a safe and loving environment. What more can you ask for? I put 3 children through this school. To this day, my oldest girls talk about how magical of a place it is. They look forward to visiting the school for open events. Once you join the GB community- a part of your heart stays forever. We are so lucky to have stumbled upon this gem, 8 years ago. It is the greatest gift we have given our children…a solid, loving, mindful educational foundation. GB has left a lasting impression on my children that I believe will last a lifetime.
Green Beginning Community Preschool is so much more than just an amazing school. It is a home. My son will be graduating this year after 3 years of attending and I am incredibly sad to leave this community. From the directors, Veronica and Keone, to each teacher, I have always felt like my child was emotionally, physically (they help with potty training), and mentally supported. The teachers are like family. They truly care and love deeply. Then add on top of that magic the play areas with all their natural elements and the amount of cool projects and knowledge my son comes home with and you have the best of the best. Everyone is very good at communicating with parents and sending weekly emails to let us know what is going on and they truly live by their community approach, creating many opportunities for family and/or parent involvement if you choose to do so. As a parent, I've made friends with other awesome parents and having volunteered at the school, feel proud to have contributed to a place my child gets to play in! 10/10 recommend GBCP with all my heart <3.
My wife and I have been fortunate enough to send both our daughter and son to Green Beginning Community Preschool. Our experience has been entirely positive thanks to the wonderful people who work there, first and foremost Veronica and Keone. Where to begin?! They are kind, supportive, attentive, thoughtful, dedicated, communicative, authentic - everything you would hope for in educators and care-takers. Our children are treated with respect, they are guided with care and intention, and they have a blast at school. There is time for play, time for learning, and time to learn the values of being a member of the community. And the term “community preschool” is entirely true. Whether it’s attending a Fall festival or an art exhibit or hiking and picnicking, my family has had such a rewarding experience coming together with other families and GBCP staff. We’ve also had a number of other friends discover GBCP and they share our positive views. Amazing place and staff. Thank you Veronica and Keone and everyone else!
