I've been worshipping at GSMBC for almost 40 years! Great Bible preaching, Bible teaching church with an awesome Pastor, Dr. Michael Wesley, Sr.!
Pastor Wesley is an awesome pastor, he puts time and lots of effort into this church. I am 16 years old and is still able to see and appreciate this ministry, i love being here. Greater Shiloh has an amazing youth program, they include us in a lot such of mission trips, community service, our own church service and youth pastor. Greater Shiloh is a very special and important place to me, come visit!
Greater Shiloh has a strong leading pastor, Dr. Michael Wesley. He teaches insightful and inspiring messages that are clearly led by the Spirit of God. They have a emphasis on outreach and missionary work which is a great need from churches today. Greater Shiloh has been one of the foremost influential churches in Birmingham and with the vision they are currently pursuing, they’ll continue to be forerunners in this city for many years.
Greater Shiloh is home to me, I love attending and learning from Pastor Wesley. He is able to reach me in a way that I understand and grasp. I like attending mission trips and youth events that greater Shiloh holds for the TAGS (Teens-At-Greater-Shiloh).
I wasn't there for the service itself, but I can tell you that the pastor is selfish and has no care for people's time and efforts. He asked one of his church members to contact Thompsons ROTC unit and ask for 5 people to do a flag folding ceremony for their veterans day service. After the cadets drove almost an hour to the church, and waited two hours, the pastor cancels the ceremony, sending them home because he had not even tried to stick on schedule, and had gone 30 minutes into overtime.
