What Parents Say
Greater Miami Adventist Academy receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents who praise the caring and dedicated staff, safe learning environment, and emphasis on faith-based education. Most parents report their children thrive academically and behaviorally at the school. However, one parent raised serious concerns about inadequate bullying prevention and administration's failure to address reported incidents.
All three of my sons attend GMAA, and the school has been a true blessing for our family. My oldest began in kindergarten and graduated this past May. My other two sons started at the age of 2, with one currently in elementary school and the other in middle school. The teachers and staff are exceptional—genuine, caring, and dedicated. Like any institution, there are occasional challenges, but overall, the school consistently prioritizes the well-being and success of its students. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. If I could give more stars, I absolutely would.
My son has been studying at GMAA since he was 3 years old. The beginning was really hard for him to adjust but the teachers and staff have been amazing, helping him get through it. I am really proud of him and thankful to the school. I highly recommend. It’s a great school.
I'm continually impressed with GMAA! The faculty and staff are not only knowledgeable but truly care about each student's success. The facilities are kept spotless, which shows the pride they take in creating a positive atmosphere. Highly recommended!
I can't fully express how grateful I am to the staff at GMAA. The positive transformation in my nephew's behavior and character has been nothing short of remarkable. He’s not only thriving academically but is also excited about going to school—a stark contrast to his previous experiences in public school, where he faced a lack of advocacy, teachers with no empathy, and constant bullying. Mrs. Russell, in particular, deserves a first-class ticket to heaven for the profound impact she has had on my nephew's attitude towards school and his faith. GMAA has truly is a safe haven for students, a sentiment I can affirm from my own experience as a former student many centuries ago! (lol) I wholeheartedly believe in the school's positive environment and wouldn’t let negative, anonymous reviews deter me from recommending it. Principal Lorna you are doing an exceptional job! Keep up the incredible work!
My kids love their school. The staff is very welcoming and helpful with everything. My kids have learned so much already and are learning values we hope will always stick with them.
