I've known many children trained by its Director, Ms. Hannah, and all have performed modest miracles of learning in the time they attended her school, not just in reading and writing, but in independent thinking and interpersonal skills. I am the parent of a child at Greater Montessori School and I can say with authoirty that my daughter has excelled at this school. She was enrolled at 18 months and has really thrived and grown a great deal over the last 10 months. I am so pleased with her vocabulary and ability to exercise independence and respect for the people and things around her. I attribute this to the commitment of her amazing teacher and the loving caretakers at the school. The Montessori method of education is well worth the investment. There is a noticeable difference to me in children that have been afforded a Montessori education.
Greater Atlanta Montessori has provded an enriched environment for my daughter to develop, learn and explore. At the school, my daughter has been empowered to do activities of daily living independently with encouragement and guidance from teachers. She has thrived through experimental learning and encouragement from the teachers to explore and interact with whatever cathes her interest. I've seen GAMS grow and I've witnessed the progress the students have made. It's a beautiful place with a dedicated Director who works incredible hours to make the school the best environment for children. The children really learn well, too, often completing their preschool with reading levels and math levels two to three years ahead of the contemporaries. I'm not only impressed, I'm amazed at what they have accomplish. It's a wonderful school.
