All three of my children currently attend VGDS and we could not feel better about where they spend their day. Our oldest started 3 and a half years ago and our youngest is in the infant program. All of the teachers are supportive of parents, flexible toward different children's needs, and genuinely caring. The administration has done an excellent job of hiring and an excellent job fostering an inclusive community atmosphere. New add on STEM, Ballet, and Soccer programming have been a big hit for our older two. Highly recommend.

Our family has had a consistently positive experience at Village Green Day School, and this is now our third year with our older son, who will be heading to kindergarten next year. Across 2.5+ years, we have found the staff to be friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring toward the children. I consider myself to have high but reasonable expectations, and in all of our time at the school I have never personally observed a staff member being mean, aggressive, or inappropriate toward a child. On the contrary, some of the teachers have been truly exceptional. We recently had to apologize to our son for not letting him invite a few of his favorite teachers to his 5th birthday party, which speaks volumes about the relationships they build. The facility itself has been a preschool for decades and has a unique layout with a central courtyard. While unconventional, it brings in a lot of natural light and provides a protected outdoor play space that works very well for young kids. Like any school, VGDS is not perfect. There will inevitably be some staff turnover and occasional classroom adjustments as families join or leave mid year. That said, for families enrolled consistently over time, our experience has been stable, thoughtful, and well run. I would encourage prospective parents to be realistic in their expectations and to weigh long-term experiences more heavily than isolated or short-term ones, as those tend to be overrepresented in online reviews. Standout strengths for us have been the location and the extended hours. The 7am to 6pm schedule has been a major benefit and offers real flexibility for working parents. No school is perfect, but we trust Village Green Day School and believe they do a very good job. Based on our multi-year experience, we would confidently recommend it to other families.

We looked for a long time before choosing a preschool! We are so glad we found VGDS!The teachers are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in the kids, and the administration runs the school with so much care and professionalism. It’s a loving environment and that will be evident as soon as you walk in. They do a ton of engaging activities for the kiddos that foster kindness, social skills and new learnings. We’ve been consistently impressed by how thoughtful and supportive the entire team is from Anna, Kelly, and Lara to all the teachers. Ms Lucy, Pooja, Hasina, Hina, Susan, Diane, Eva, Angela, Brieana and I’m sure I’m forgetting someone they are all so great and we are lucky to get to have you in our lives. Ms Michelle who prepares their lunches and snacks is also amazing. I highly recommend VGDS and tell all my mom friends about it!

We’ve been part of VGDS for almost a year and couldn’t be happier. The school is bright, welcoming, and well-kept, with a true yard and large outdoor play space — not just a small playground like many other schools in the area. Our experience with the Montessori program has been wonderful, and the teachers and staff are caring, approachable, and invested in the students. Most importantly, our child loves her teachers and comes home excited about the day and eager to go back — the best sign of a great school.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this VGDS. The teachers are caring, dedicated, and invested in the children’s growth, while the administration is organized and easy to communicate with. The structured learning program is well balanced with play and helps build academic and social skills.
