Great Beginnings has truly been the best thing to happen to our family. My daughter started going here last year after her school closed down last minute. My husband and I researched and visited a plethora of schools but when I walked in to Great Beginnings I just knew that this school would be amazing. I was so impressed by how clean the school and classrooms are. The staff, admin and teachers are amazing.. my daughter has had the pleasure of being in Ms. Jeanne's class and what a treat it has been. Ms. Jeanne has encouraged my 4 year into reading, math and creativity. My daughter is a completely different person walking out of Great Beginnings from when she started. She has the confidence, she has the ability to articulate her needs, she knows what she wants and I attribute a lot of it to Great Beginnings. I am so grateful for the staff like Ms. Martina for her always making sure we are doing ok, for responding quickly and her patience. I cannot wait to send my next child there when she turns of age. This journey at Great Beginnings has made my family and my daughter so happy. I am so amazed to see the transition and the friendships my daughter has made.

Both of my kiddos attended this preschool for two years each, and we always felt they were safe and cared for. The director and teachers were attentive and responsive to the kiddos and their needs. Both kids learned to write their names at just 3 years old, had homework that prepared them well for elementary school, and even got to help with a garden project that is still going strong! It was also reasonably priced, and overall we had a positive experience with the nurturing environment.

Absolutely love this preschool! Our son had the best experience here when he was 2 and 3. Lana is organized and communicative in running the place, Miss Martina is so creative and caring in the school’s program, and Miss Melissa is such a kind, thoughtful teacher. We were impressed by all the extra activities and projects, from weekly music class to growing a beautiful school garden to an epic water slide during summer camp. Amazing place!

I can't begin to express the gratitude I have for the support that the Great Beginnings' team provided to my 4yr old, specially Ms. Alma and Ms. Martina. My son is now enrolled at the local district school but we walked away with a deep sense of appreciation and satisfaction with the school and program. My son had a magnificent experience at this school and has grown leaps and bounds since enrolling in August. I was initially worried because I wanted a place that would be safe enough for a student with Autism that had difficulties communicating. I also was looking for a place that would allow his ABA therapist to attend with him. His ABA Therapist was there 9 hours a week, three mornings and she never witnessed anything bad happening to my child or others. The school was accommodating from the very beginning and they ensured that my son was safe and supported the whole time there. I'm immensely thankful to Ms. Martina for believing in him and reassuring me that your staff could support him and his needs. Ms. Alma was warm and patient with him and made the difficult morning transitions easier on him. The team was also supper helpful and supportive of the communication between both parents. This place was essential to his growth and confidence. I always felt that he was safe and well take care. I loved this place!

My son attended Great Beginnings before transitioning into LAUSD classroom. As a parent, it is always important to research and ask the questions you need to ask to feel comfortable leaving your child. From the start we had great communication with the school administrative staff who helped ease our concerns. Throughout the time my son attended I didn’t have any issues or problems with the staff, we appreciate all the extra attention our son received while at school. I have recommended Great Beginnings to friends and family and would happily take my son again. Thank you to Mrs. Karen and Ms. Martina!
