We moved to San clemente and were coming from a wonderful preschool, we were so nervous to try a new one. It has been such a blessing! I have 2 kids here, 1 in preschool and 1 in kindergarten- they transitioned so nicely with the help of the warm, loving teachers! Their day is filled with so many different fun things, lots of playtime outside (which I love), and the STEM program has really helped them accelerate their learning! They are so happy, we have met the best families and love the teachers! I highly recommend the Gratitude Garden!
I feel so lucky to have found The Gratitude Garden. It ticks all of the boxes I find important in early childhood development. They really understand the emotional and social needs of children and they work so hard to encourage the positive. They have a wonderful outdoor classroom with a garden and chickens! And really strive to make it a healthy community for not only the children but the whole family. Hopefully they open their 1-6 Elementary school soon so we can continue on our schooling journey with them!
Our Son has been going to Gratitude Gardens for a little over a year now and is in his second year of TK. After receiving short notice of his previous school closing we researched all of the schools in the area and Gratitude was our top pick and we were lucky enough to get him in right away. Both my wife and I are Engineers, so a STEM based program was very important to us. We love the school and the staff and most importantly our son dose as well. He hated going to his old school, but is now excited to go to school every day. The level of knowledge that he has gained in a year at gratitude has blown us away.
The entire staff is wonderful, caring and nurturing. Our son loves this school so much we increased his schedule from 3 full days to 5 full days. Such an amazing school and encourages imagination and exploration of the world around them. My son has grown up so much since starting 7 months ago. We feel so blessed and grateful that our son is at this school and we know he couldn't be in a better preschool.
Our 3-year-old son has been at The Gratitude Garden since his second birthday and we could not be more pleased with the curriculum, staff, facility and overall philosophies. So much so that we are anxiously awaiting our 20-month old's entry when he turns 2!! We were attracted to this school instantly based on the name (gratitude is a central part of our family and outlook) and quickly connected with the STEM based education, outdoor philosophies and classroom, and freedom and imagination cultivated at the school. Our son has thrived and can't wait to see his friends each day. On the whole, the school is thoughtful, measured and balanced in its approach to childhood education. Mrs. C is fabulous and Ms. Morency has been a stellar addition to the "Sprouts" teaching roster. My son has blossomed under her care and she is quick with an anecdote at pick up time...as a parent, I love hearing about the cute moments or things he said during the day and so appreciate that she takes the time to share. I cannot recommend this program/school/philosophy more highly. We look forward to our years to come at The Gratitude Garden and are grateful for the time they have invested in our family thus far.
