This school is truly a hidden gem! We are so happy we found them online. From the very beginning, the staff made my daughter feel welcome and comfortable, easing her gently into the routine of going to school. Their flexible schedules and thoughtful programs made the transition so much smoother than I ever imagined. One of the most remarkable things was how they helped her overcome her potty fear with patience and encouragement. Within just a few months, she was confidently going all by herself—a milestone that meant so much to us as a family. The teachers here are exceptional. They take wonderful care of every child, creating a nurturing environment while also introducing them to new skills and knowledge every day. Thanks to their guidance, my daughter can now spell and write her own name, which fills us with pride and joy. I couldn’t be happier with the overall program and the dedicated teachers. This school has given my daughter not only an education but also confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a supportive and enriching place for their child!
I couldn't have asked for a better daycare experience for my son! GPUMNSK took him in at 3 years old, helped potty-train him, and helped him thrive socially, academically & in every single way. He graduated after 2 years and it was so sad to say goodbye. I'm forever grateful for this school and all of the amazing & kind people in its community.
This school used to be 5 stars, now it is a one star school. We started going here in 2021 with our first child and continued with our second. In 2025 they enrolled a violent and emotionally disturbed child. This child not only violently attacked my youngest to the point I had to file a police report with Alhambra PD, I later found out from 2 other parents their little girls were also violently attacked by this same boy. Despite video evidence of a nearly 2 minute beating in spring 2025, the school allowed this individual to remain and attack other students. While the teachers are nice and my daughter's had a good foundation for public school, I would not advise parents to enroll their children here and pay $1k per month to have their children attacked. They will admit any student regardless of behavior and social-emotional disturbance due to a lack of enrollment. When my eldest attended there were about 30 kids, when my youngest left there were 12.
My daughter began attending preschool at Granada Park this past summer, and she has been very happy there! She is in Miss Agnes’s class, who is wonderful — very patient and gentle. Our daughter isn’t even three, and we are seeing an explosion of knowledge and speaking ability since she started. She’s learned the days of the week, months of the year, colors, shapes, and more. The classrooms are very cute and well set up, with a rotation of toys/activities that seems to be changed up regularly. Lastly, the playground is amazing — there is an upper and lower yard (with teachers and helpers monitoring each), which are well shaded. My biggest concern is that my daughter have lots of time for free play and outdoor play, and I know she is getting that here.
My son has been attending GPUMNSK since he was 2 1/2 years old and I could not be happier with the care and kindness from his teacher last year and his new teacher this year. It has been so helpful to have him enrolled in a program that promotes development with an emphasis on play and creativity, but also making time for academic awareness. Currently in his 3-4 year olds class, his teacher has shown us the fine motor work they've been doing to prepare to trace letters in a couple of weeks! I also love that they have such long flexible hours and I don't have to worry about rushing to pick him up if I've had a late work day or if I need a couple of extra hours to run errands or clean up. My son also has a ton of food allergies but we have worked together to come up with solutions for him in case of reactions (which he had once, and they called me right away, and when I came for him, his teacher was comforting him and pressing cool wet paper towels to his face to give him relief from his hives). The teachers here all truly care for the kids as if they are their own.
