Grady'S Place Daycare

My daughter has thrived at Grady's Place. The staff that I have encounter, have always been pleasant and informative. I love that they have an app that keeps me informed throughout her day - that has provided a great security to me. I am a mother of three, and my daughter was the first and only child of mine that attended Day Care. I would recommend Grady's Place to my family and friends. My daughter started attending Grady's Place at 12 months old, since being there; she has learned how to count, and her ABCs. It has increased her learning and social skills, she loves playing with her peers. Thank you Grady's Place for providing a learning place for my child. I never knew the impact childcare facilities had on a child's growth, it provides a place of early learning.

They don’t even deserve one star! I have several friends who have had/have their kids attend here. Having to pick up your child with bite marks, children without diaper changes for 2.5 hours left with rashes that won’t go away for days because it is a reoccurring issue. Children are now misbehaving because they do not have stable structure and attention is needed. Not to mention this building is not kept up with. How are adults supposed to work when this is one of the options for daycares in our community. Prayers to all the families and children involved.

This place has a history of sweeping incidents and negligence under the rug. One of the most unprofessional and disorganized places I’ve ever seen. Terrible communication from staff members, cycles through teachers on an almost weekly basis, no background checks needed to start working, kids being left outside or being unaccounted for, kids being left in dirty diapers for hours at a time, and that’s just the surface. Consider a home sitter or wait your turn on a wait-list at any other daycare before considering this one. It’s only a matter of time before the lackadaisical atmosphere seriously changes a child’s/parents/family’s life for the worse.

3 months was more than enough time to realize that the gut feeling we had when first starting there should have been a sign. The amount of times we expressed concerns and were told “we’ll mention it to them (the other staff members needing to be notified) only for nothing to be done was more than frustrating. Luckily it was never anything too serious with our own kid, but other children were not so lucky. Incident reports aren’t taken seriously and the parents aren’t ever given full details. Avoid the headache of having to fight for your child’s basic rights and find anywhere else to send your precious littles.

I just read where a baby girl had bite marks on her chest, and scratches on her face that goes to this daycare. The staff stated in article that a child pushed her down on concrete walkway. Why would you have a concrete walkway at a daycare setting? Why would the state approve your license without seeing that as a hazard?
