Grace Powell Church is truly a blessing! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed by the friendly congregation and warm atmosphere. The worship services are powerful, and the messages are always inspiring, rooted in Scripture and relevant to daily life. PastorJeff and the staff genuinely care about the community, and there are so many opportunities to get involved, whether through small groups, youth programs, or outreach efforts. Their childcare program is absolutely amazing, safe, well-organized, and filled with loving staff who genuinely care about the kids. Their teachings are true to the Bible and Pastor Jeff is extremely gifted at delivering God's word. That statement alone is enough to attend church here. In addition to Pastor Jeff, their whole staff is amazing! The production quality of the music is fantastic! It is obvious they put so much planning and detail into everything they do. This is my church for life!

We had been attending for a few weeks and thought we had found our new church after our previous church had closed until on this past Sunday we walked up and saw that they had "yes on issue 1" signs everywhere and we realized that pushing their political agenda seems to be much more important to them than worshipping Jesus, which is what should be the main focus of a church. This is very upsetting as I do think that the sermons and core beliefs are genuine and follow God's word and the music and general atmosphere was very inviting. I think pastor Jeff is a great teacher and preacher who is truly rooted in the bible. However, I cannot support a church that expects people to vote a certain way. I know many Christians that are true followers of Christ that are both republicans, democrats, and neither. It is very close-minded to think that all Christians should have the exact same political views. It is completely inappropriate to lead the entire congregation to pray for specific issue to pass. The prayer should be that God's will be done in whatever that will is, not pretend we know God's plans and will. I gave 3 stars because again I do think that the leadership and the congregation has their hearts in the right place and are truly trying to bring people to Jesus and if they removed their political focus from their services, I do think this would be a really great church.
