What Parents Say
Grace Neighborhood Academy has received mixed reviews with significant concerns about staff changes, communication failures, and classroom management. Parents report serious issues including unreported child injuries, religious activities despite diverse families, and poor academic quality since a directorship change. One parent praised the staff and learning opportunities.
This is a missionary school! They claim they are separate from the Church but they are not. They keep taking kids to their Church even though they know there are kids from different religious background. We have voiced our concern several times but they don’t care. Their mission is to make every kid a Church kid. The end of the school year was a disaster: They held the graduation inside the church with the church leaders present for prayers. They even have given my son a Bible. We have never approved that. Academically, the school is terrible. It was used to be run by smart staff, but a huge change has occurred. They are baby sitting kids not teaching them. I wouldn’t suggest putting your kids there!
I don’t even want to give this place 1 star this daycare is the worst daycare you could take your child to had the government calling me and making appointments to get my son evaluated and had to change my work shift and all for them to tell me there is NOTHING wrong with my son had social workers talking to me and all it USE to be a good daycare until they changed directors I COMPLETELY DO NOT RECOMMEND my son is now in a different daycare for the past 3 months and he is doing great with no issues….oh and the teachers don’t know how to have patience or deal with toddlers they get VERY irritated and frustrated so quick and complain about EVERYTHING.
In one incident my child got hurt and the teacher failed to report the incident to me. In the next incident my child told me that the teacher “hit a girl in the face” in the class. When communicating concerns with the director and staff, the parents are either ignored or dismissed.
The staff are wonderful and the classrooms full of learning opportunities plus they have Science with Nature Jack
The Communication at this facility is horrible
