Grace Child Development Center

Our two boys attended Grace for right at a year. Our oldest unexpectedly aged out because we didn't put him in pre-school. Luckily another daycare had immediate openings. Not a big deal just something to be aware of. The good- Their teacher's and Ms Joann were absolutely amazing. So caring. Took great care of our boys. We never had to worry about them. The not so good but not a deal breaker with such limited options in Altus. Sand EVERYWHERE. The entire playground is sand. Our vehicles always had sand. It's impossible to wash the sand out of their socks. It just never ends. It's an older facility. You can tell. But they do a good job of cleaning the individual classrooms. The bad-When our son was moved up a class, his new teachers just didn't seem as caring or attentive. They didn't help w shoes so he was always stepping on the back of his shoes. One day when my husband walked in he was saying "Oww" , he had both socks stuffed in the toes of one shoe. We switched him to Crocs, problem solved but at his new daycare this hasn't been an issue once. I have a feeling it wouldn't have taken long before we started looking elsewhere. Complete opposite of the attention he received in his original class. Not really sure what's going to happen with the director retiring... Overall it's a good place, not what you'll find in a bigger city with more options but it was good for our kids for a year.

My neice goes there and Adrianna and Becky are the sweetest and made me and my sister feel so comfortable and relieved . They are hands on and even do lesson plans with them and teach them . And our baby is happy to be dropped off with them it’s the best feeling! So I would definitely recommend this daycare for your little ones

My 3 year old goes to preschool here and absolutely loves it. He loves his teacher and has learned so much there, even is better at trying new foods. I couldn't be happier with his development and his care there!
